(Your personalized AI-powered valuation framework) Top 7 questions (and answers!) you might encounter in an #interview for tech professionals related to #salary: 1. **What are your salary expectations?** Https://techworth.trueselfy.com It is important to be state your expectations within the range of (+/- 10% of #TrueSelfy SmartSalary) if you want to be interested and to be feel valued well. 2. **What is your current salary?** - Employers often ask this to understand your current compensation (it is illegal in some countries, but on in India). This is a trick question to figure out if you are currently paid well, and if not, can be used to keep employer's cost down. So, it is best to answer this question tactfully, saying that your future salary should be based on future role/position/responsibilities you will be handling, and avoid/delay answering this as far as possible. 3. **What components make up your current compensation package?** - Detailing your base salary, bonuses, stock options, and other benefits helps the employer understand the full picture of your compensation. Total Compensation is tricky and is usually to give delayed/deferred payouts based on performance, retention within company etc. Ensure that your base salary is TrueSelfy SmartSalary and all other compensation (variable pay, stocks/ESOPs, bonuses are on top of that) 4. **What is the minimum salary you would accept?** Never answer this question, though if you have provided a range earlier, it is okay to assume that minimum would be the lowest part of that range. Never let employer set the minimum salary expectations based on their data, as there is no way to validate it, and even if they follow scientific approach, if they arent willing to pay the SmartSalary then you are giving a discount. Of course, there could be other reasons why you want to join that org, so make those decisions based on your context. 5. **Are you aware of the industry salary standards for your role?** **How do you justify your salary expectations?** - Demonstrates your market awareness and whether your expectations are realistic. Industry standards are opaque and even though there are portals that give you some range, always go prepared with your TrueSelfy Personalized Value (TechValue) and state that TechValue is what you bring to the table, and you are asking for a fraction of that value as salary/contract rate. 6. **Have you received any other offers?** - Knowing if you have competing offers can influence the company’s offer and urgency. If you have, certainly state so, but never share the numbers. 7. **How do you prioritize salary versus other benefits?** - This helps the employer understand what aspects of the compensation package are most important to you. Preparing thoughtful and well-researched answers to these questions can help you navigate salary discussions. #hiring #startups #startup #india #itservices #hr #hiringalert #hiringnow #hiringimmediately #opentowork

I have cracked the code for working with Gen Z. They want two things (more than 2, but let's keep it simple). ONE - Fair pay TWO - Respect and purpose so they can feel belongingness. That's it. Remember, we are not in a world where Gen Z must work to survive. There is the internet; there is freelancing; there is technology; there is AI. You need them. They don't need you. So the time of saying, "Get sh#t done or you are f##ked" is gone. You can't threaten Gen Z with autocracy. You can't bully them with politics. You have to work with them. They are our future. They are workforce 2.0 #worklifebalance #badworkculture
