I went to the Zoo on Monday with my gorgeous grandson as we often do as Monday is our day together, it's just 15 minutes away and I love that I can do that and have done for the past 4 years with both my grandsons.
We're members at the zoo and we love it there, so when I got an email through about my visit with a feedback form to complete yesterday I started to fill it in.
Unfortunately it wasn't working properly so after trying 3 times I gave up on it.
But I knew of course if I was was them I'd want to know it wasn't working, so I responded to the email - and yes you've guessed it, it was do not reply to this email as we do not read them 🙃
So yes I've parked it for now...
But it was a great reminder of how many 'missed opportunities' are passing us by as business owners. When things just aren't easy enough, people move on very quickly.
➡️ That link that isn't working
➡️ That messaging that isn't very clear
➡️ The not getting back to people quick enough
➡️ The 'broken or complicated process to get in touch with you'
When was the last time you looked at just how easy it is for people to get in touch with you and walked their journey?
Not everyone is going to go the extra mile to let you know or be persistent as me haha.
I'm always grateful when people let me know if something isn't doing what it should do are you?
If you'd like to get in touch with me, here is a great place to do just that 😉

Too often we get stuck at one stage, thinking that's the solution to everything. But what got you here won't get you there.
I've cycled through these stages multiple times in my career.
Currently in my "experimentation phase" with my latest project, and it's both terrifying and exciting.

COX uses the STAR methodology for their interviews, if your not prepared to critically think about your answers, the format will expose your weakness' ,which are going to be ask of you, what they are, how have you progressed to improve them and what process you took to make changes.
Do not be discouraged if you think the interview is going bad, you really don't know, while feedback maybe good, you may not be what the are looking for and you should take no offense. Do your best to represent the best you always, and we all make mistakes.
I hope COX see's true value in me and was the reason for the second round interview where I could express not not only that I would like to work with them, but I have ideas on how to improve just about any system, process or plan.
RideWithUs We RideWithYou
Hi All,
Today I interviewed with a group at Cox and I thought the interview went well and they allowed me to be expressive and understood the assignment I was on to help the ride-share drivers.
I even got to explain the Assignments methodology for work, streamlining the process to getting things done by being crowd sourced to as many that want to be included.
As I explain what I'm doing more and more people have given me kudo's for the concept and the effort I've put in to make a difference. You'll see me make post with spelling error's, some incomplete thoughts and maybe even mistakes. But, I go back and read my post, fix them or attempt to and add more context for things I've left out. Building something from scratch takes effort, lots will go right and a lot will go wrong, but making the effort is what counts. Serving the interest of other should be our founding principle, where we benefit from our service and as a collective we have power and influence.

Attach big reasons to why you do the things that you do.
That’s one of the best ways to increase your chances of success and ensure that you actually follow through.
When I saw this video of Jurins Kengamu I couldn’t help but to be inspired and think of my own reasons for why I got into this industry and became passionate about helping brands grow. It’s always a reality check when you remind yourself of these things.
Anyways, just a little bit of inspo to start your week off right.
What are some big reasons that you attach to the things you do on a daily basis?
I had a great day at work today!
As I was tackling tasks and training new team members I took a moment to pause and reflect on the good things happening around us. It’s easy to focus on challenges and what’s left to accomplish, but today, I wanted to focus on celebrating the things going right. I focused on these 3 things:
What went well today? Did you complete a project, solve a tricky problem, or help someone?
Who made a difference? Did a colleague lend a hand or brighten your day? Share it with them!
How can we keep this energy going? Sometimes it’s just about acknowledging the small victories that keep us moving forward.
Let’s make it a habit to celebrate our wins—big or small—and lift each other up. Gratitude and positivity are contagious, and they can transform our mindset. Here’s to recognizing the good, staying motivated, and supporting one another as we continue to succeed together. I hope you had a wonderful day! Be kind to yourself ❤️
This is my desk. It may seem cluttered to you, but what I see…
• The photos? My why. The reasons I keep working so hard.
• The random golf ball, cherry and palm tree? Tokens and gifts that have a deeper meaning of encouragement.
• The certificate? Not a brag or showcase of honor, but a constant reminder to lean into my strengths.
• The excessive amount of magnets? A prank from teammates that keep me focused on the importance of building trust and having each other's back — while having some fun along the way
• Game show name tag? A symbol of my first-year jitters, now a source of laughter and perspective.
And the newest addition, my 5-year plaque at Black Hills Energy.
The past five years have been a whirlwind of learning and growth. I've discovered strengths I never knew I had, tackled challenges that pushed me to new limits and built incredible relationships along the way. And I’m just getting started 😏

🎉 Shoutout to my amazing team at More Than Freights! 🎉
Just wanted to take a moment today to brag a little about the fantastic people I work with. Every day, these folks amaze me with their knack for hitting those high-quality marks we’re all chasing. But you know what really makes my heart swell with pride? It's not just the top-notch work they do; it's how they do it.
We’re talking open, honest chats with our clients, keeping everyone in the loop, and really, just making sure every tiny detail gets the attention it deserves. It’s like watching a well-oiled machine – if that machine was also your group of super talented friends.
And let’s be real, it’s the behind-the-scenes – the laughs in the warehouse, the coffee runs, the brainstorming sessions – that makes all the difference. This team doesn’t just work hard; they care hard. And that’s what sets us apart.
So, here's to my team – for being absolute rockstars and making every project a bit more special. Couldn't do it without you guys. Here’s to all the projects we’ve aced and all the ones still to come. 🚚💪
Feeling grateful and pumped for the future!
