🗓️ Spring is blooming with an array of exciting conferences! As I navigate through these #HorizonEurope events as a representative of an #RTO (Research & Technology Organisations), I sometimes feel like an outlier, a lone wolf amidst a herd... 🐺 Yet, with the following facts about our HEU involvement, we are far from being the odd ones out! 1) RTOs are a driving force, with 2/3 of funding in Pillar II allocated to projects involving us. 🚀 2) We aren't just participants, we're leaders! RTOs coordinate 1/3 of the projects they partake in. 🎯 3) We're a catalyst for industrial involvement, boosting it by a significant 33%! 📈 Having realized our pivotal role, I've decided to step into the limelight and share enlightening insights about us over the next few weeks. Our journey begins with Danish Technological Institute 🗂️ Week 14: Unveiling the mystery - What is an RTO? Get to know DTI. 🔍 Week 15: Measuring our footprint - What's the impact of RTOs? 🎲 Week 16: Assessing the landscape - What’s the state of play for RTOs in Horizon Europe? Stay tuned for these exciting updates! 📣 #ItsAllAboutInnovation #innovation #results

I think that the official video with the highlights of the week summarizes very well the vibe at the 46th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2024): https://lnkd.in/eeThv3G4 #ArchitecturalChangeManagement #SoftwareEngineering #ICSE2024 #ICSE24 #SoftwareArchitecture #SystemsArchitecture #Lisbon #Portugal #CAIN24 #Designing24
Tanja and I had a great time at the 46th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2024) and also in Lisbon. Particularly, I attended the International Conference on AI Engineering (CAIN) and participated in the International Workshop on Designing Software (Designing). We've met a lot of people and really enjoyed the in-dept discussions. Moreover, we explored Lisbon which is an interesting city with very nice people, great vistas, a lot of awesome restaurants, and shops. Many thanks to the organizing committee, volunteers, and supporters of ICSE 2024 who made this conference a success! 🙏 ICSE 2024: https://lnkd.in/eewwSkjB ICSE 2024 Organizing Committee: https://lnkd.in/ege2NmUs #ArchitecturalChangeManagement #SoftwareEngineering #ICSE2024 #ICSE24 #SoftwareArchitecture #SystemsArchitecture #Lisbon #Portugal #CAIN24 #Designing24

From the moment an idea emerges until a technology is consolidated, R&D+i projects go through different phases 🚀. To measure these phases, we use the TRL (Technology Readiness Level). Understanding this scale well is essential for proposals to effectively address the topics of European funding programs. Would you like to know more about the 9 TRLs to categorize your projects? 👉 https://lnkd.in/dDjzX8sJ
