In 2023, a cost-of-living crisis and fears of a recession contributed to organizations being cautious in financial decision-making. This suggests that organizations continued to take action through 2023 to maintain engagement levels of 2022. During these challenging times, organizations may have expected to see some dips in employee engagement; however, engagement levels remained stable in 2023.
