We recently embarked on a heartwarming partnership with Shelton College International, uniting students from their theatre performance course with the vibrant seniors at Goodlife Studio (Bukit Purmei). Through interactive workshops in theatre, both the students from Shelton College and our seniors helped bring the generations together, sparking creativity and fostering shared learning experiences. Our seniors also stepped into the spotlight in a student-produced theatre show, delivering a performance filled with joy and inspiration. 🎭 Their enthusiasm reminded us all that creativity and learning truly have no age limits! We’re honoured that this intergenerational collaboration was highlighted by Shin Min Daily! 😊 Curious to see this wonderful collaboration come to life? Benjamin Franklin famously said "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." and we agree! At Scene Change, we've witnessed the transformative impact of this philosophy firsthand. Our workshops harness the power of experiential learning, bringing real-world scenarios to life with the help of professional actors. Through forum theatre, delegates aren't just passive observers; they're active participants in the learning process. They engage, they comment, and they correct, all within the safe space of the workshop environment. By immersing themselves in these scenarios, delegates gain emotional distance from their own behaviour and preconceptions. They are empowered to identify and address communication challenges head-on, whether it's navigating feedback, recognising micro-aggressions, or confronting unconscious bias. Experiential learning is a tool that can empower your team to become more cohesive, open, and self-aware. At Scene Change we help people increase their capabilities to reach their potential, contact us to start this powerful process! #ExperientialLearning #ForumTheatre #TeamDevelopment #SceneChange # #EffectiveCommunication#FeedbackMastery #LeadershipDevelopment #UnconsciousBiasTraining #ProfessionalDevelopmentUK #ForumTheatre #LearningInAction www.scenechange.co.uk

Theatre became the lens through which I rediscovered the world. This journey has been transformative, profoundly influencing my personal and professional life. Whether it's problem-solving, project management, or brainstorming new ideas, the inventive spirit of theatre has been a valuable asset. Watching characters navigate through complex situations and emotions has heightened my empathy. In an industry where spectacle often overshadows substance, I’m drawn to narratives that dare audiences to think, feel, and, sometimes, rethink everything they believe. For me, the film industry is more than business—it's a battleground for culture, representation, and truth. My aim is to amplify voices often overlooked and craft stories that entertain while sparking meaningful conversations. Let’s connect, collaborate, and keep pushing this industry toward something bigger than just entertainment.

#FreeHumanityTheatre #GaborMate #TheMythOfNormal #HealingThroughArt #ChallengeToxicCulture #EmpathyAndConnection #ResilienceAndHealing #ReclaimHumanity 🌍 Free Humanity Theatre: Challenging the Myth of “Normal” Culture 🎭 Dr. Gabor Maté’s compelling interview, “Our Culture is Killing Us: The Myth of Normal”, exposes a harsh truth—what we often accept as “normal” in our culture is deeply harmful. This so-called normality, defined by chronic stress, disconnection, and toxic societal norms, is not just unsustainable but actively destructive to our humanity. At Free Humanity Theatre, we take this reality to heart. Our work is centered on confronting these cultural myths through the power of storytelling and performance, shedding light on the hidden forces that harm individuals, families, and communities. Challenging “Normal” Culture Dr. Gabor Maté highlights how our cultural definitions of success, health, and well-being are often rooted in systems of manipulation, exploitation, and control. At Free Humanity Theatre, we refuse to normalize: Institutional gaslighting that distorts truth. Narcissistic power structures in relationships and workplaces. Manipulative language and division perpetuated by media and politics. Instead, we create space for authentic human experiences, allowing us to question the “normal” and work toward a healthier, more connected society. Storytelling as Resistance Through verbatim theatre, we bring real stories to the stage—stories that expose the cracks in our toxic systems and celebrate the resilience of the human spirit. Each performance is an act of resistance, challenging the destructive myths and providing a platform for healing and reconnection. Healing Through Art and Action Dr. Gabor Maté’s call to action is clear: to heal, we must first understand the root causes of our pain. Free Humanity Theatre supports this through: Performances that bring buried truths to light. Workshops that help individuals and businesses navigate trauma, reconnect with values, and foster healthier environments. Neurofeedback practices that address the impact of stress and disconnection on our minds and bodies. Why This Matters The systems we live in are designed to keep us distracted, divided, and disconnected. The COVID-19 pandemic only amplified these dynamics, highlighting the urgent need for change. If we don’t actively resist the toxic elements of our culture, we risk perpetuating them. Feel invited to contact us. We standing in clear position for Reclaiming Humanity Free Humanity Theatre is more than a platform for art—it’s a movement to challenge toxic norms, rebuild connections, and create a future where humanity thrives. Whether you’re an individual or part of a business, we invite you to join us. Together, we can dismantle the myths that harm us and build a culture rooted in truth, empathy, and resilience. ✨ Let’s take a stand against “normal.” Let’s redefine what it means to live authentically and fully. https://lnkd.in/ecVEnnJn

HumorDrama and Paradoxial Coaching , Gibberish Improvisation- MasterClass- Potsdam, Germany 2023- Nose 2 Nose Clown Remise : An Excerpt from the Hyde Park Gibberish, The Gibberish Professor. Sometimes we look for Truth and knowledge in Schools, Universities, or Listening to some Authorities\Gurus, about what they have to say on certain topics. We may get a Degree and Certification and becoming Experts on certain topics. YET, it may be a big Gap between a Theory and In Practicum. Science can be correct in Theory yet sometimes our Body and Soul don't obey to scientific paradigms, what makes it Nonsensical. Sometimes we listen to an amazing TEDx Talk (The Lecturer is a keynot Expert), YET will our life be really changed only by listening? What we are going to do with the incredible information?
