Proud to partner with We Are Mobilise in transforming lives. We had the honor of furnishing and styling Sarah’s space, giving this remarkable woman—a survivor of incredible hardships—a fresh start in a warm, welcoming home for her family, complete with thoughtful touches like the coffee table that carries deep significance for her. Sarah's message for anyone facing tough times is truly powerful—watch the video to hear it directly from her. As Noah Yang of We Are Mobilise reminds us, ending homelessness is possible if we all work together. If you'd like to join us in being part of the change, please send us an email or DM to find out more. ✨ Watch the full transformation video here: https://lnkd.in/gxDZQhjy 🎥 #TransformingLives #PartneringForChange #Collaboration

Can you imagine leaving work for the day, and having no-where to go? No front door to walk through, no sofa to sit on, nowhere to cook and nowhere to shower. Imagine working hard, doing everything ‘right’ but you still can’t make ends meet. You have nowhere to sleep. No-one to talk to. You don’t have a home. This is the harsh reality for 12,000 people in London who are working but still experiencing homelessness. We work with people to make sure they do have a safe place to go when they finish work at the end of the day. Through our partnership with Westminster City Council, we offer people in work but experiencing homelessness their choice of an Airbnb, homestay or similar for up to 3 months, anywhere in London, alongside professional coaching. Coaching helps them make sense of what’s happening in their life. With the opportunity to talk and to create goals for themselves, they can start taking the steps to achieving them. #WorldHomelessDay #EndHomelessness #HiddenHomeless #AffordableHousing #HomelessnessAwareness #HousingForAll

P.S.A - We don't just design fabulous homes for our clients, although we're pretty good at it 😉 #HumbleBrag Our work is rooted in inspiring HOPE in our client's lives. Here's what that looks like: 👉 1. Setting The Stage We not only give our clients a fresh start with their home transformation but inspire greater hope in their lives. These transformations act as a catalyst to help our clients achieve their dreams with a solid foundation - a house turned into a home! 👉 2. Ending Homelessness We seek to disrupt the cycle of homelessness, and we do! Less than 1% of those affected by homelessness return to it after working with Humble Design Detroit. 👉 3. Uplifting & Rebuilding Community Through changing individual lives, we seek to rebuild the greater community of Detroit. So far, we've helped 10,000 individuals and we don't plan on stopping! Get involved with our mission, and help us INSPIRE HOPE by transforming houses into HOMES. 🧡 Learn more on our website! #humbledesign #welcomehome #inspirehope #communitybuilding #endhomelessness #michigancharity #detroitcharity

Each guest is unique, and what it looks like to support them to become as independent as possible is different for each person." Gemma talks about her job as a Senior Caseworker, including the skills she needs to support those experiencing homelessness, and how she has seen the homelessness sector change since she started at Glass Door.
