At More Than Support, we believe every birthday deserves to be celebrated, especially for those who may not have family close by. Recently, we came together to celebrate Russell’s special day, making sure he felt surrounded by love, laughter and community. For many of our participants, gatherings like these bring a sense of connection and belonging. It’s a reminder that family isn’t just about who you’re related to, but about the people who show up, share the joy and make every moment count. We’re grateful to be part of these moments and to share in the happiness of our wonderful community. Here’s to more birthdays, more smiles, and more memories together! 💙 #InclusiveCommunity #DisabilitySupport #TogetherWeThrive #SupportAndCare

Congratulations Kinsome and Eben on your launch! If you don’t know about the Kinsome app and you want to help bridge the gap between your children and their grandparents, check out Kinsome! #grandparentsday #sandwhichgeneration
Maybe a touch personal, but I wanted to share about what motivated me to found Kinsome and what we're trying to accomplish for all families. And for those who celebrate, Happy Grandparents Day! (I can admit I had no idea this "holiday" even existed before starting Kinsome...but like other Hallmark holidays, their popularity stems from the fact that it's a cause worth celebrating!)

Mothers inspire their children to be their best. Today, I am reminded of the best advice that I received from my mother. My Mother would say to me when I was having difficulty in achieving a goal, “Luck comes to those who are prepared.” It was her way of saying success is earned through your efforts, not by chance. What is the best advice you received from your mother? Please share as a comment. #Mom #Gratitude #Mentoring #Leaders Longview Leader Corporation
Today is Mother’s Day in many countries around the globe. We honor our mothers on this day with flowers and gifts to show our appreciation for everything they do for us throughout the year. At Longview Leader Corporation, we wanted to express our gratitude for our mothers because of how their love and support have shaped our capacity to achieve and demonstrate empathy. We share these wishes with our employees. clients, friends of the firm, and families. Happy Mother’s Day to All Every Day! #RiskManagement #Family #MothersDay #LongviewLeader Valerie Nielsen

Celebrated My Birthday with Family After 4 Years ! Back when I was in college, my birthday was a full-blown event. Friends would start reminding me in early September that my big day was coming, and it wasn’t just a day – it turned into a birthday week! 🎂🥳 We partied for 4-5 days straight because I had so many friends back then. And the best part? Almost every time we went out to cut the cake, the police would show up! 😂 (No, we weren’t causing trouble, but it sure added a twist to the celebrations!) I used to get birthday wishes from almost a thousand people – texts, calls, social media posts – it was non-stop. Back then, it felt amazing to have so many people around, always excited to celebrate with me. But this year was different. After 4 years, I finally celebrated my birthday with family, and guess what? Only a few hundred people wished me, and just a handful of them made an actual call. At first, I thought, "Where did everyone go?" But then I realized something powerful – the ones who stay, even when you’re not constantly around, are the ones that truly matter. Over the years, I’ve come to value quality over quantity. The smaller circle I have now is filled with people who genuinely care, and that’s what counts. 🎯 To make it even better, my aunt and cousins came to celebrate with me. Spending quality time with family made me realize how important these moments are. The love, laughter, and connection we share with family can’t be replaced. It’s those heartfelt conversations, the inside jokes, and just being together that make celebrations feel complete. ❤️ So, while my birthday celebrations may not be the 5-day marathon they once were, they’re now filled with meaning and joy that come from true connections. Sometimes, it’s not about the crowd – it’s about the love and the people who are really there for you. Here’s to growing, changing, and cherishing the people who make life richer in every way! 🥂 #BirthdayReflections #QualityOverQuantity #FamilyTime #Grateful #CelebrateTheSmallThings #TrueConnections

(Not Work Related Post) Each year, we prioritize creating lasting memories with our kids by celebrating Christmas somewhere special. While we still exchange gifts, we make it a point to spend quality time as a family in a unique setting. This year, the decision was tough—between a ski resort, Puerto Rico, Universal, or Disney. Ultimately, we landed on Disney World! Fun fact: we even got married at Universal in Florida, so it was a close contender. 💍 When we told the kids yesterday, the reactions were... mixed. One was bouncing off the walls with excitement, another was bummed because they prefer Universal, and the third didn’t even crack a smile saying they didn't care where we go. Personally, the “not even cracking a smile” reaction felt like a punch in the gut. We’ve worked hard to give our kids this type of childhood, and it left me feeling like we must be doing something wrong. It got me wondering if we have spoiled our kids. We know how fortunate we are to be able to do something like this. For many families, trips like this take years of saving, and we don’t take that for granted. But we also want to ensure our kids grow up with gratitude and appreciation. How do you encourage your kids to value experiences over things? How do you instill gratitude, especially during the holidays? And for those of you who’ve traveled to Disney or Universal—how do you handle mixed reactions from your kids? Would love to hear your thoughts. 📸 - Photo from our wedding at Universal in 2022 #parentingjourney #familymemories #gratefulparenting #disneyworld #familytravel #holidaytraditions

Christmas is a time where a lot of people have family traditions. When people separate, it can be very difficult to come to terms with that; these traditions now have changed. However, it can also be a great opportunity for co-parents to create new ones. Christmas has changed now you are not together anymore but that does not have to be a bad thing. Think about what is important to you and the kids about the Christmas period and start making new fun memories with your kids.
