Today, we were privileged to host the remarkable Mike King at Serko Ltd., where he delivered a profound discourse on vulnerability and the essence of being a Good Human—coincidentally, one of Serko's newly instated Guiding Principles. In the context of a corporate or organizational environment, embodying the traits of a good human entails a myriad of qualities. It means fostering a culture where individuals genuinely care for one another, where empathy reigns supreme, and where the rich tapestry of diverse perspectives and backgrounds is not just acknowledged but celebrated. It involves being mindful and respectful in our interactions, and acknowledging and celebrating the small victories along our collective journey. Mike King epitomizes the transformative power of good intentions. His message was delivered with a rare blend of candor and finesse, leaving an indelible mark on our consciousness. It was a potent blend of provocation and introspection, challenging us to confront uncomfortable truths while resonating deeply with our shared humanity. In a world often characterized by cutthroat competition and relentless pursuit of profit, Mike's words serve as a poignant reminder of the imperative to prioritize the well-being of our people and the communities we serve. Indeed, workplaces imbued with the ethos of goodness have the potential to catalyze positive change, both within and beyond their walls. For it is in nurturing the goodness within ourselves and others that we truly thrive as individuals, organizations, and as a society at large. #WEARESERKO #beagoodhuman

The polar differences between Visionaries and Integrators mean you're always driving each other a little bit crazy. This is normal—just not easy. Imagine if your two personalities were exactly alike. What gain would there be for the organization? It would simply have more of the same capacity. Polarity creates an electric charge. In the case of a business, polarity energizes creative tension. When harnessed, this leads to a bigger impact. When considering any problem, people who are similar will ask similar questions. Our polarized V/I Duo is likely to ask very different questions —because they see the problem from diverse vantage points. Varied lines of inquiry lead to better results.

Its not possible to make it work in CZ and SK... Back in the early days of Loxone CZ/SK, I often heard, "It's not possible." For three years, every piece of advice from industry insiders echoed this sentiment. But then, 2013 arrived and everything changed. 💥 We didn’t just enter the market – we dominated it, becoming the market leader. Our success wasn't a finish line; it was a springboard. 🏆 Fast forward to today, and the landscape looks entirely different. We're a team of 40 passionate professionals, led by Pavel Lískovec in CZ and Luboš Barborík in SK. From support and training to administration, marketing, and sales, our crew is a powerhouse, managing over 150 products. We tackle projects of all sizes, with confidence and expertise. Whether it's a small task or a massive endeavor, we know what we're doing. Watching my 'baby' grow has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. It's more than just business; it's personal. ❤️ I'm immensely proud to see Loxone CZ/SK thriving and connecting with enthusiastic partners who don't mind a few hours of travel to join us on this journey. Here's to defying the odds and building a future where "impossible" is just a word. 🚀 #Leadership #Growth #Teamwork #Loxone #CzechRepublic #Slovakia #Innovation #MarketLeader #JourneyToSuccess
