As leaders, what we say can have a huge impact on our teams, especially in the fast-paced world of staffing and IT. The right words inspire, while the wrong ones can hold people back. So, let’s talk about the things we should avoid saying as leaders. For starters, passing off problems isn’t the way to go. Instead, we solve them together, because we all have a stake in the outcome. Making time for our teams is equally important—if their concerns aren’t addressed, it affects everything, including our success. And while it’s tempting to tell someone to “just figure it out,” we know that offering support and guidance leads to better results in high-pressure situations. Innovation is key in an evolving industry like ours, so let’s stay open to new ideas rather than clinging to "how it’s always been done." Most importantly, we should always value our team’s contributions and recognize their importance. Empathy goes a long way. Let’s lead with thoughtfulness and set our teams up for success. 🌟 Follow Our Page: Deerfield Employment Solutions Visit Our Website: https://lnkd.in/gntgP666 #Leadership #StaffingIndustry #Teamwork #Innovation #ITLeadership #EmpathyInLeadership #LeadersWhoListen #Collaboration #WorkplaceCulture #DeerfieldEmploymentSolutions #LeadershipDevelopment #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceSuccess #LeadershipTips #TeamSuccess #EmployeeSupport #WorkplaceInnovation #LeadershipMatters #LeadershipSkills #LeadershipInTech #StaffingSolutions

🔍 How does authoritarian leadership limit the potential of your team? In today’s fast-paced, ever-changing business world, adaptability and innovation are key to survival. But authoritarian leadership styles can undermine these by stifling creativity and suppressing diverse ideas. In my Dark Triad Leadership series, we’re exploring how this leadership style impacts long-term organizational growth and problem-solving capabilities. Organizations led by authoritarian leaders often miss out on groundbreaking ideas because employees are afraid to share anything outside the "approved" line of thinking. This creates a risk-averse culture, where employees play it safe, avoiding new and innovative approaches. Over time, this leads to stagnation and a loss of competitive edge. Can you see the hidden costs of such leadership in your workplace? 💡 Tip for leaders: Encourage open dialogue by actively seeking feedback from employees across all levels. By doing so, you empower your team to contribute their best ideas and feel valued for their diverse perspectives. 🎯 Try this: Next time a project hits a roadblock, ask your team for unconventional solutions. Giving space for creative thinking can unlock innovation and break through challenges. If you're interested in fostering a leadership style that drives innovation while promoting a culture of inclusion, feel free to connect and see how my coaching can support your growth. 🌱 #BusinessLeadership #OrganizationalGrowth #DarkTriadLeadership #LeadershipDevelopment #InnovationMatters #DiverseThinking #InclusiveLeadership

If you're looking for fairness as well and are interested in helping to bridge intergenerational leadership within your corporation, let's chat. It's interesting, after being at the Transform conference, speaking to companies solely focused on Gen Z, many many Chief People Officers, and doing over 20 events, mentoring, and think tanks with Chief members about the #FutureOfWork - there is buzz about things surrounding issues at work and people, miscommunications, misunderstandings between Execs and Gen Z but it has not been defined what all of this is and it's intergenerational leadership, that is Boss Me In's differentiator. After serving now over 4,000 people (yep!) with profound impact, intergenerational leadership is a solution for corporations that leads to retention, dynamic innovation, better workplace teamwork, and culture. If you're interested in intergenerational leadership at your corporation, let's chat. There's magic happening behind the scenes for you also, stay tuned. Thinking about doing more videos too, soon! #people #intergenerationalleadership #teamwork #culture #retention #innovation #leadership
