In this recent study, we examined how AI career-navigation tools fared in recognizing the education, skills, and talents of professional immigrants, refugees, and asylees, aiming to guide them toward jobs that match their skill sets and education levels. In tests using resumes from candidates using Upwardly Global's career-coaching services, the AI tool for job seekers misidentified 20% of work experience credentials. This results in job seekers finding fewer opportunities that align with their credentials.
