What an incredible day chairing at #TheAISummit NY! I opened using my digital twin (thanks to D-ID and ElevenLabs). I showed a video of our groundbreaking collaboration with Lenovo, demonstrating our open-source solution that empowers people with extreme disabilities, shining a light on D-ID, ElevenLabs's scalability. I shared how AI's computational needs are doubling every 100 days, with annual energy use growing 26-36%. This explosive growth in AI capabilities demands an equal focus on privacy protections and responsible scaling. Richa Singh of Lexington Partners set the tone, illuminating data-driven leadership, while Heather Gentile outlined essential guidelines for ethical AI adoption. Linda Ding from Automation Anywhere presented a compelling session on how organizations can move beyond basic generative AI. Steven Moons shared invaluable perspectives from the European Central Bank, and Benjamin Plummer offered critical insights on moving beyond POCs to successful implementation. Our afternoon featured outstanding panel discussions led by distinguished moderators: Kevin Werbach (Wharton) steering vital conversations about global AI regulation Jules Polonetsky explored organizational evolution with AI excellence centers with Greg Ulrich, Mastercard's Chief AI and Data Officer, who shared compelling insights about building and scaling. Vijay Verma, VP of Product Management at Mosaicx, highlighted innovative approaches to integrating AI governance structures across diverse business units. Matheen Raza, Enterprise Product Lead at NVIDIA, offered valuable perspectives on building the technical foundations needed for enterprise-wide AI transformation teams. Berenice Baker diving deep into bridging the AI hype-reality gap Hanna Helin leading thought-provoking discussions about enterprise AI's future We explored how enterprises are moving beyond pilots to full-scale AI deployment, focusing on enhancing rather than replacing human capability. What struck me most about today's discussions was how technological and ethical dimensions of AI scaling are inseparable.
