🇺🇸 𝗨𝗦 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆? 🇺🇸 Over the past few years, one of the most frustrating things for job seekers in the creative industry was hearing that it was a "great job market" while facing layoffs and hiring freezes. For headhunters the situation during the downturn was that many companies kept specialist searches in-house, relying on generalist teams and job boards for niche roles. This left key positions unfilled for a long time, frustrating candidates even more. Permanent hires were put on hold, but there was a notable rise in freelance gigs and opportunities with startups. International companies expanding into the US took advantage of the growing talent pool, and headhunters like us retooled, partnering with colleagues across Europe and Asia to stay agile. 🔎 Now, the market has shifted. Searches are sharper, and companies are looking for particular skill sets, industries, and technologies – particularly in AI, where it’s become a top priority in every boardroom. So creative roles are back on the rise. But to everyone's surprise, mid-level candidates returning to the market see that salaries haven’t kept up with inflation, even as C-suite roles are offering impressive packages with higher salaries, bonuses, and equity. There is still a way to go. ⚙️It is the emerging industries that are leading the charge with bold hires: gaming, crypto, AI, in-store tech, analytics, and data are securing top talent and hiring with long-term growth in mind. So let's go! In the comments, let us know what trends you are seeing in the US market. #USJobMarket #CreativeIndustry #HiringTrends #AI #FreelanceOpportunities #EmergingIndustries #Recruitment
