Create this "popcorn" effect using Adobe After Effects and Newton 4. 🍿🤩 Download the source files here: https://lnkd.in/d5rq866b This can be done very quickly, here's how: 🔷 I've used images here, but you may use videos or shape layers. Best practice is to send Newton optimized shapes ( rectangles or circles). This will speed up your preview and give better results. ➡️ Import your footages. Duplicate them to have around 100 layers (more or less depending on what you want). Randomize the entry point of all your layers. You can do it by hand, but here I'm using a script called Rift. ➡️ Launch Newton. Set a Comp Wall at the bottom (but you can use 2 or 3 walls depending on your design, composition format, etc.). Turn off gravity by setting it to 0. Set the Sub-steps to 50 (or more, the more Sub-steps you set the more precise the animation will be). Set the friction of the walls and objects to 50. Use the Randomizer to randomize the position and rotation of your objects. ➡️ And that's all! You've got your animation. You can, of course, tweak the settings to make it your way. You could also use the teleportation feature to reuse the layers once they are offscreen! I recently had the opportunity to add some dynamic movement to a client's logo, and I wanted to share a quick reflection on the process. Motion graphics have always fascinated me, especially the fine-tuning possibilities in the graph editor of After Effects. In this video, I demonstrate how refining keyframe interpolation and adjusting easing curves in the graph editor can make a design transition feel natural and cohesive. Even simple movements, like animating this circular text element, gain a polished and professional touch with these techniques. I'd love to hear your thoughts—how do you approach refining animations in the graph editor? Do you have any favorite techniques or tips that elevate your motion graphics? Let’s share and grow together as creatives! 💡🎨 #MotionGraphics #AfterEffects #LogoAnimation #GraphicDesignCommunity

Behind the Scenes: Interactive Explanation Experience the diversity of our intralogistics solutions at a glance and a click - that sounds like a good idea. But how many steps does it take to create an interactive hidden object picture? We took a look over the shoulders of the animation designers: Our time-lapse making-of video shows the creative process behind the lively and interactive presentation of our portfolio. The high-quality renderings were created with the help of innovative tools such as Demo3D and Blender. Every area of our presentation that requires explanation can be clicked on, allowing viewers to familiarise themselves with our products in detail. Our conclusion: hard work, sweat and fun bond a team together and produce the most creative results! What do you think: Is there a better way to explain technology? #viastore #ProduktWimmebild #HiddenObjectPpicture #BehindTheScenes #Blender #GeometryNodes #CyclesRenderer #AgXColorManagement #InteractivePresentation #Innovation #Teamwork #Creativity

Sometimes the client has ideas for design elements and animations but cannot provide the original assets. In this case, the client sent over some pixelated screenshots and asked if I could work with them. I told her no, but we could use the screenshots as references and recreate them from the ground up in Adobe Illustrator, and then animate them in After Effects. #adobeillustrator #aftereffects #iconanimation #motiondesign

More of a detailed breakdown of the animations for Nazima Khan, CPA Candidate's Showcase at New York Fashion Week 2024. The video was designed to tell the story of her brand, NazimaKnits, in the nostalgic style of an old-school video game, drawing inspiration from classics like Paperboy, Mega Man, and Pokemon Blue/Red. Programs used- Maya, Blender, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Character Creator 3 Characters Modeled in CC3 were re-rigged separately for both maya and Blender versions to preserve specific details. Basic animations in maya and Blender. Some clothes were modeled as others were paid assets. Most assets were clean 2D versions created in illustrator that were filtered and animated through after effects to bring together the whole look as well as the sounds effects. Then the whole video was compressed in Premiere Pro. A special shoutout to Geovanna Sanchez-Hurley for her valuable contribution to the project, helping with the backgrounds.

Super quick AR piece I built for a beer release. Took a screenshot of the new label. Deconstructed it in Photoshop. Imported the layered PSD into After Effects. Added some basic animations, exported as a PNG sequence and brought it into Adobe Aero. Took maybe 30 minutes? #ar #adobeaero #augmentedreality

How to create motion graphics with ZERO experience! Watch how I created this animation by simply creating a storyboard of how I want the animation to unfold, while letting Linearity Move's 'smart animate' do the rest of the work for me. In January, I traveled to Berlin to check out Linearity Move's launch event. Honestly, I was super excited to try it out after seeing it. Motion graphics has always been very overwhelming to me, like trying to learn any software, however, with Linearity Move, the game changer for me was the ability to convert your artboards into an animation with just one click! This makes creating simple motion graphics completely accessible to anyone and can really create extra value for your services as a designer if normally you don't provide any motion graphics at all. I'm not saying it completely eliminates the need for motion graphic software, however, it's a great addition for creating professional motion graphics with little to no experience. Check it out for yourself, it’s super intuitive & will make your clients smile when they see the final result. #lineartiy #motiongraphics #graphicdesign
