LetzRide, the new transport service by FleetLab, officially launched in Luxembourg on June 18th. The innovative service offers 24/7 car sharing and solo rides across the country. Partnering with established transport companies like Sales-Lentz -, Demy Schandeler, and Josy Clement, LetzRide aims to provide a convenient and flexible travel solution. Customers can easily book their rides up to 24 hours in advance using the LetzRide app. Initially focusing on shared rides using vans from the partner companies, solo trips will be introduced later through a private taxi service. Despite the availability of free public transportation in Luxembourg, LetzRide targets underserved niche markets with specific time slots and connections. Notably, LetzRide does not require any subscription, offering transparent pricing to clients upon reservation. This customer-centric approach aligns with FleetLab's commitment to enhancing the transport experience in Luxembourg. Explore the future of travel with LetzRide! 🚗 #LetzRide #FleetLab #LuxembourgTransport

#CHALLENGERBRANDS – Dramatic Disruptor. Rapido completely transformed a service sector with ground-breaking innovations and business models. 🔹Rapido, launched in 2015, is an online aggregator of bike taxis, disrupting the traditional commuting industry by providing affordable, safe and convenient last-mile transportation solutions. The company started with a B2B model, moving clients’ belongings, using hired “Captains”: 🛵bike owners who undergo a stringent verification process. Adding a B2C model providing affordable last-mile connectivity to commuters was the disruptive move. Around 60% of short commutes involve single persons and bikes are the best option on India’s congested city roads. 🔹Rapido’s #valueproposition is convenient, quick and affordable bike taxi services for intra-city commuting that is faster and cheaper than autos or cabs. Commuters connect with nearby bike taxis via a mobile app, which has more than 50 million downloads and is rated 4.6/ 5.0 by 2 million reviewers. The company operates in 100+ cities, but it faces bans on bike taxis in several states and sometimes complaints about its Captains’ behaviour. On the supply side the Captain app has 10 million downloads and a rating of 4.6 by 1 million reviewers. Not surprisingly, Rapido’s captains are mainly male, though the company is trying to tilt that balance. 🔹Rapido utilizes several #consumerengagement programs, ensuring helmets for riders and passengers, arranging insurance coverage and an 📲in-app SOS button. It has partnerships and collaborations with local businesses, events and other brands to offer exclusive deals to its users. It runs localized marketing campaigns with culturally relevant themes and participates in college fests, sports events, and cultural festivals. For its Captains, Rapido organizes events for them to interact, share experiences and learn from each other. It runs programs offering financial support or advances. 📈Rapido gained 10% of the taxi aggregator market, while Uber and Ola control about 60-70% share. Rapido has raised $ 310 million over 10 funding rounds from 10 investors, including Swiggy and TVS Motor Company. It has made two acquisitions to move into 🛺autos, diluting its core focus. Revenues rose three times in FY23 compared to FY22. Nevertheless, its losses rose by 54%. In the race to grow fast before competition catches up, that’s a call that founders and funders have to take. 🔹What next? Will this David become a Goliath in the near future? Is the temptation to spread beyond bike taxis to autos well-advised? Is its celebrity-based advertising gender-inclusive enough to convey safety to its female audience? How can it leverage its 50 million+ app downloads using network effects? 🔹Tell me what you think in the comments below. Join the conversation. #lastmile #shortcommute #taxiservices #challengerbrands #startupsindia #startupmarketing #smartmarketing #atmanirbharbharat

🚲 Chinmay, Daniel, Stephen and I just returned from our first EUROBIKE Show - the energy at the show (with its 35,000 attendees!) made me even more excited about the future of the bike industry and Ridepanda's place within it. I loved seeing the innovation in the product space, with beautiful new bikes (thanks for the myStromer AG and Brompton Bicycle product tours Tomi and James 🚲) from countless vendors, the bike insurance space (thanks for teaching us about Laka, Aide 🛡️), bike shipping and logistics (amazing product at circular logistics, Christian! 📦), and tracking solutions (great products Ludovic at Connected Cycle and Jakob at Copenhagen Trackers ApS 📶), ebike resale solutions (enjoyed hearing about all your progress Toussaint at Upway! ♻️), and the huge success of employer-sponsored bike leasing schemes in Germany similar to what we're building at Ridepanda in the US. We’re thrilled to bring our learnings back to the US and integrate them into our work at Ridepanda. Of course I had some FOMO after the show - not enough time to have all the conversations, ride all the demos, see all the products, or attend all the presentations. But I left with a sense of vast momentum within the bike industry to increase adoption and onboard new riders with amazing services and form factors. Happy that we’re part of this community and helping make bike riding easier, more accessible, safer, and more fun - and ultimately help our planet with more sustainable, human-friendly and city-friendly modes of transport 💚 #Eurobike2024 #Ridepanda #BikeIndustry #Innovation #SustainableMobility

E-bikes can also make a major impact on an employee’s wallet. Operating and maintaining an e-bike is significantly cheaper than a car, considering the costs associated with fuel, insurance, and parking. E-bikes offer a cost-effective solution for employees, especially in urban areas where parking is scarce and expensive. Plus, the convenience of bypassing traffic congestion and the flexibility to use bike lanes and paths can save valuable time during commutes. That’s more important than ever as more emphasis is placed on achieving a healthy work-life balance. segway xyber bike Pedaling to work has numerous benefits, from health advantages to time-savings And then there’s the increased productivity to consider. Ridepanda has excellent data that shows how our platform drives real behavior change among employees for commuting and beyond. And I really love hearing personal anecdotes like the one shared by Micah Toll about his wife’s commute and how “offering e-bikes as a perk also fosters a sense of community and shared values among employees.” Special thanks to Electrek.co for spotlighting Ridepanda in this article. https://lnkd.in/eiEw-ePy #ebikes #commute #sustainablecities #sustainablecommute #climateaction #electricbikes

Spain, Europe's #carsharing champion❓ That's what these striking figures show 👇 🇪🇸 According to the barometer from AVCE - Asociación de Vehículos Compartidos en España and PONS Mobility, carsharing in Spain has increased by 22.4% since the covid-19 pandemic, reaching a record 3.75 million journeys last year 👏 📈 The report also shows that the use of shared vehicles has more than tripled compared to private vehicles! 🚘 What's more, 2️⃣5️⃣% of Spanish households using carsharing don't own private vehicles, and 1️⃣9️⃣% have already got rid of the vehicle they do own, or plan to do so in the near future. Recently Fast Company wrote an incredible piece highlighting how Ridepanda's new approach to urban mobility is a significant leap forward in urban mobility for individuals. The investment and relationship between employer and employee in this model fosters real change in commute behaviors Early data on the behavior change from our riders indicates this: • Before joining Ridepanda, 74% commute 1-2 times per month on an ebike. • After joining Ridepanda, 84% ride 3-4 times per week • Over 34% of Ridepanda riders replace an average of 2 car trips per day As Ridepanda continues to grow, we will continue to focus on creating behavior change which, at scale, will drive significant reduction in carbon emissions by getting folks out of single occupancy vehicles when commuting. https://lnkd.in/e-v7bHJ7
