🏗 On a ~1 year old Building I happened to be visiting, I noticed this overhead duct installation through a rated egress stair shaft. A few things jumped out at me: - Are tops of the duct straps firestopped at the Firewrap penetrations? - Does the Fan system account for the pressure drop experienced with 4 back-to-back square elbows (one is tucked away behind the fan) - Are we allowed to route this duct through the stairwell if it doesn't expressly serve the stairwell? - Should the F/SD be in the plane of the rated wall, or is there a planned future wall here? - Where are the thrust restraints on the axial Stair Pressurization fan? - Do you have code-required headroom at each of the nosings?
