⏳ Redefining Recovery Timelines in MSK Care Clinical recovery should be measured in months or even years, not days. In the U.S., the average episode of care lasts 6 weeks—barely enough time to initiate physiological rebuilding. Most changes in the first 6 months are neurophysiological, where symptom behavior shifts before anatomical adaptations occur.
