Happy Halloween from the MHH team! Confused about the end of year state of play for the hospital at home waiver? No tricks here! We break it down for you: The House Ways and Means Committee advanced a legislative package, which includes the five-year extension of the hospital at home waiver in May. In September, the House Energy & Commerce Committee advanced its legislative package, which also includes the five-year extension, out of Committee. ⏭️What's Next?⏭️ Both House committees are working to resolve any differences between its respective bill text, both which include the five-year extension. After resolving differences, the final bill will head to the House for consideration. The Senate, on a separate timeline, still needs to undergo its own process.
