❗ DEADLINE ALERT ❗ for all Postdocs in the Max Planck Society! 📢 you only have until this Sunday (18th August) to participate in your 2024 General Survey! Take the opportunity to give your input on working conditions in our Institutes! 🗳️ To participate: search your Institute E-Mail inbox for our message with the subject "Personal Invitation Link to participate in the Official 2024 PostdocNet General Survey." Please see that email for a detailed explanation of the goals of the Survey and your personalised link to the Survey (no link sharing, please! If you should have gotten a link and don’t have one, click here to request one: https://lnkd.in/e8ViQyFS). And remember: your institute's anonymous results will be sent to your External Postdoc Representative IF your institute responds enough to this survey – so please encourage your colleagues to participate so that your postdoctoral community can benefit from these results. Wondering if you are eligible to participate? Well, there is no technical definition of what a postdoc is in Germany, the Max Planck PostdocNet identifies a postdoc as someone who: - is scientific staff (in department, lab or group); - has a doctoral degree; - is employed on a time-limited contact (not tenure or indefinite); and, - has not yet established a significant level of independence (e.g. not group leaders or W-level employment). Questions? Get in touch with the PostdocNet Steering Group or the Survey Group: survey@postdocnet.mpg.de steering@postdocnet.mpg.de For more information about this survey and to see past survey results, please see our website. #maxplancksociety #MPGpostdocnetgeneralsurvey2024 #haveyoursay #maxplanckpostdocs #maxplanckinstitute #postdocseurope #mpg #maxplanckpostdoc #maxplanck

I had a great and intersting visist NNF Quantum Computing Programe at the Niels Bohr Institute during my study tour with my study assosiation Leonardo da Vinci.
Today, at their peak, the magnolias in our courtyard were complimented by this group from the Dutch student association Studievereniging Leonardo da Vinci who visited NQCP. The association is affiliated with Radboud University. The 27 university students are on a study trip to Copenhagen and Stockholm. Visiting educational and research institutes along the way. We are proud and happy that they chose to stop by and learn about our quantum activities here at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. #visitors #quantumscience #students #quantumcomputing
