Wow, this is such a powerful and relatable post. Your journey from the music business to becoming a VP in tech is inspiring and a testament to the power of resilience and self-belief. The tips you shared are excellent—especially the 'Evidence File' and the '5-5-5 Rule.' It's incredible how a shift in mindset and proactive strategies can transform self-doubt into confidence. Thank you for reminding us that imposter syndrome is a sign of growth and not a weakness. Growth happens outside the comfort zone, and your story is proof of that.
I wish I could have shared this post with my younger self. I used to worry a lot that my mistakes would show that I didn’t know enough or that I wasn't good enough. It took a long time, but I finally learned to get over those feelings of not being worthy. We are often nice and supportive to our friends, reminding them that they matter. It's really important to remember to be just as kind and caring to ourselves also.
Love this! Rewriting the script in my head is always the first step. 💪🏽
These tips are so practical and easy to follow. Love the idea of an 'Evidence File', definitely starting that today.
The doubt leads to procrastination! And procrastination is a real trap!
Documenting wins is such a powerful way to silence self-doubt.
Great tips ⚡️Harvey Lee ⚡️! I particularly like the idea of creating an Evidence File to document wins and positive feedback.
The idea of rewriting your internal script is spot on, imposter syndrome is just fear in disguise.
Spot on ⚡️Harvey . Our perceived limitations are often mere figments of the imagination. Your self-worth is not defined by others' perceptions or your past experiences. Moving forward fearlessly — that's where growth happens.

3wMan, this post resonates. Imposter syndrome is such a common experience, and your tips provide a clear, actionable path forward. Here’s what I’ve learned from this approach: ✅ Documenting your wins (#3) is a game-changer. Having an “Evidence File” isn’t just a confidence booster—it’s proof that your achievements are real and earned. ✅ The 5-5-5 Rule (#5) is brilliant for perspective. It’s a simple, powerful way to stop overthinking and focus on what truly matters. For me, I’m committing to #2 Take Calculated Risks. Public speaking has been my “comfort zone killer,” and this is the year I lean into it more intentionally. What about you? Which step speaks to you most? P.S. Imposter syndrome might never fully leave, but that’s because you’re constantly leveling up. Keep growing!
