What could be better than spending a day with an account manager to get a feel for his or her day-to-day work? Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend a full day with Benedicte Herf, Account Manager Wound Care, to see what a typical day looks like for an Account Manager. We visited several establishments (clinics, EHPAD, HAD...) to present our Avance Solo solution (a solution that appeals), present the new version of Mepilex Border Post-OP (much appreciated), and set up appointments with new surgeons. A day that enabled me to understand the challenges faced by our teams. Next time: Spend a full day with an Account Representative to understand the challenge. In France, a chef de clinique-assistant (CCA) is a non-tenured medical staff member with a triple mission of care, teaching and research at university hospitals.
