Ardh Kumbh is Celebrated every 6 Years Kumbh is Celebrated every 12 Years Maha Kumbh is Celebrated every 144 Years In our Lifetime we won’t be able to Witness Mahakumbh ever Again. Let me also tell you the brief story of Mahakumbh that will be in Prayagraj from 13th January to 26th February. The origins of the Kumbh Mela trace back to several thousand years, specifically the legend of Samudra Manthan, or the churning of the ocean. According to ancient scriptures, this celestial event was a collaborative effort between the Devas (gods) and Asuras (demons) to retrieve Amrit, the nectar of immortality . During the process, a Kumbh (pot) filled with sacred nectar emerged. To safeguard it from the demons, Lord Vishnu, disguised as Mohini, seized the pot and fled. Along his journey, a few drops of the nectar spilt at four places: Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik, making them holy sites for the Kumbh Mela. These four sites became sacred, hosting the Kumbh Mela on a rotating basis. Witness this event for once in a lifetime . May almighty bless us all . #mahakumbh #india #prayagraj #culture Follow Rahine Bose 🇮🇳 if you love the content ! Narendra Modi Government of India Incredible India, Ministry of Tourism, India

Birth place of Lord Hanuman Associating gods with specific places helps to ground religious beliefs in a cultural and historical context. It provides a narrative that links the divine with the lived experiences of a community. On a visit, here's what I found about Anjaneri and its significance to Lord Hanuman ! Anjaneri, which means "born from Anjana," is considered Lord Hanuman's birthplace. The Anjaneri Hills, located in Nashik's Trimbakeshwar region, are a part of the Western Ghats. Trimakeshwar is one of the 12 jyotirlingas. A sitting Hanuman, also known as the Veera Anjaneya, is when Hanuman is depicted in a seated position with crossed legs, displaying a serene expression . This representation of Hanuman is said to symbolize qualities such as: - being in Meditation - Wisdom - Inner peace A sitting Hanuman statue also serves as a reminder for devotees to cultivate a sense of calmness and introspection. Visiting a sacred place can indeed offer profound insights beyond just fulfilling a religious ritual. Such experiences often provide valuable lessons for both personal and professional life. Please do visit this place. ( though there are claims of Hampi in Karnataka being the birth place of Hanuman, this piece is written to symbolise what his various poses depict) #professionallife #life #wisdom #peace #introspection #experiences #community #insights
