The effects of engaging with a UGA program are often immediate, but they are also long-lasting. A University of Georgia-designed leadership program in middle Georgia continues to leave an impression on one program graduate, years after attending. Boyd Elrod graduated from the 2019 Middle Georgia Regional Leadership Champions program, developed by the UGA J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development in partnership with the Middle Georgia Regional Commission. “When I am engaged in leadership positions, I keep falling back on principles I learned during the sessions to evaluate all sides and see the greater good,” Elrod said. “I am analytical and introspective, and the program opened my eyes to see how I could key in on those traits and sharpen them to make myself a more effective leader and communicator.” Learn more about leadership development at UGA here: https://lnkd.in/dZ6yWTYP #UGAserves #WeKnowGeorgia

We're proud that our co-founders, Stefanie and Kelly, will serve as #keynotespeakers at the upcoming IPAC: International Personnel Assessment Council conference in New Orleans! In their 60-minute keynote, they'll pair up to share an evidence-based framework and set of strategies to cultivate inclusive leaders and cultures in our modern-day workplaces. Building inclusive cultures is a critical leadership skill both now and into the future. Inclusive leadership requires self-awareness, self-management in the moments that matter most, overcoming and addressing unconscious biases, and utilizing time-tested strategies to bring out the best in others and create conditions where people with diverse experiences and backgrounds can thrive. -- Not familiar with IPAC? Check them out below, and consider attending their upcoming conference or becoming a member. They curated an incredible line-up of keynote speakers for this year's event! https://lnkd.in/gb9GWEze #HRconference #talentassessment #leadershipdevelopment #keynotespeaker #inclusiveleadership
