Why do we tolerate what we don’t want instead of making a change? You can change anything when you have a strong enough reason why. The reason you tolerate your current situation is that the consequence of staying where you are isn't hurting enough. It isn’t emotionally burdening. Or the reward for change isn't big enough. And I’m not talking about monetary or material rewards—the emotional reward isn't clear or compelling enough. Everything we do is to feel a certain way. If you knew that making the desired improvement would lead to more joy, love, happiness, excitement, clarity, or peace, wouldn’t you make the change right now? What if all you needed was a stronger reason? Coaching can help you create that clear vision and purpose. 8 Visuals to Fire Up Your Mind These quotes all made me stop and start a fire in my soul. Here is what I learned, summed up in three strong themes: 1. Empowerment Surround yourself with people who fight for you in rooms you're not in. → Your true advocates are the persons who fight for you when you're not in the room. Great leaders protect their teams against toxic culture. → Success isn't everything to a leader; it's the safety and positivity he promotes. 2. Resilience If you're looking for someone to change your life. look in the mirror. → The key to transformation lies within you. One of the most powerful skills you can master: take nothing personally. → Don't carry the weight of others' opinions; focus on your path. Change is daunting but always worth it. → True growth only occurs when you're out of your comfort zone. 3. Self-Awareness Don't force yourself to fit in where you don't belong. → There's a place right for you don't settle until you find it. Focus on this, not that! → Keep your attention on what matters and block out distractions. Dream big, think big! → Break your massive goals into small, actionable steps to progress consistently. Do you ever feel like you’re constantly saying “yes” to everyone else… but saying “no” to yourself? If you’ve ever felt drained, unappreciated, or like you’re shrinking who you are just to keep others happy, you’re not alone. People-pleasing might feel like the “safe” option, but it often leaves you feeling insecure and questioning your worth. I’ve been there too—over-committing, over-apologizing, and overthinking every decision. It took me time to realize: I wasn’t serving others because I truly wanted to—I was doing it because I was afraid of letting them down. But the truth is, confidence doesn’t come from pleasing others; it comes from honoring yourself. I help leaders like you break free from people-pleasing, overcome insecurity, and build unshakable confidence so you can show up as your most authentic self in every area of life, professionally and personally. If you’re ready to step into your power and let go of the need to “prove” yourself, DM me “CONFIDENT”and I´ll send you my free guide on how to boost your Confidence and find Clarity with very easy daily steps. #coach #mindset #leadership #empowerment

"I’d rather be pleasantly surprised than bitterly disappointed." The fixed mindset may be subtle, but it's definitely present in many of us. Recognizing it marks the beginning of a chance to grow—if that's what we're aiming for. To avoid disappointment, hurt, or tension, it seems we need to dial back on hope, desire, or need. The idea is that by reducing our expectations, we lessen the likelihood of feeling let down. Embracing a state of less want and need might appear as a solution. However, rediscovering healthy wants, needs, and desires can be an incredibly powerful aspect of anyone's leadership journey. This process not only enhances our ability to adapt but also broadens our living experiences beyond the comfortable 68-72 degrees we're used to indoors. #resiliency #healthyneeds #mindset

Ever notice traits in others that hit a nerve? Or maybe they inspire you? That’s no coincidence. What we see in others is often a reflection of something within ourselves - our own beliefs, strengths, and fears. Sometimes, we notice a quality we’re ready to grow into, or even something we’re struggling with or finding hard to accept. When we admire someone’s confidence, for example, maybe it’s a sign to tap into our own. And when something irritates us? That can be clue of something unresolved within ourselves. 💡This week, try this simple shift: The next time someone stirs up a reaction in you, take a moment and ask, “What is this showing me about myself?” 🌱 Use this mirror effect to grow: – Noticing qualities you find challenging? (Consider if there’s a part of you that shares or fears those traits. ) – Spot strengths in others you admire? (Ask how you can bring more of that into your own life.) The way we see others can be a powerful tool to unlock new levels of confidence and clarity in your own life. Insights about yourself can help you create more opportunities in your life. What will you discover? #Mindset #GrowthMindset #Leadership #PersonalGrowth #Confidence #coaching

As leaders, we often find ourselves overwhelmed by the pressures of our roles, the expectations of others, and our own internal struggles. It's essential to remind ourselves of some fundamental rules that can help us maintain perspective and cultivate a positive mindset. Here are the 7 Rules of Life that resonate deeply with me: 1. Let It Go: Never ruin a good day by thinking about a bad yesterday. Focus on the present and the possibilities it holds. 2. Ignore Them: Don’t listen to other people. Live a life that’s empowering to you. Your path is unique and deserves respect. 3. Give It Time: Time heals everything. Be patient with yourself and others. 4. Don’t Compare: The only person you should try to beat is the person you were yesterday. Progress is personal. 5. Stay Calm: It’s okay not to have everything figured out. Know that in time, you’ll get there. Patience and persistence are key. 6. It’s On You: Only you are in charge of your happiness. Take responsibility for your emotional well-being. 7. Smile: Life is short. Enjoy it while you have it. A positive outlook can transform challenges into opportunities. How do you incorporate these principles into your leadership style? Which one do you find yourself struggling with the most? “Learning how to rein in your thoughts and focus is going to help you to achieve your goals in life. Without focus, you can never achieve anything.” – Eric Phillips Your thoughts are powerful. Jumbled thoughts, jumbled life. Focused thoughts, focused life. The question is: where are your thoughts? Do you allow your friends and family to distract you from your purpose? Is your work distracting you from your purpose? Are the voices you are listening to distracting you from your purpose? You will never achieve your purpose without focus. In order to focus you must remove the distractions. Removing distractions oftentimes requires self-discipline. It may require me to change my circle of friends. It requires me to set boundaries with my family, friends, and work colleagues. So, what are your thinking? “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” -Proverbs “From out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” -Jesus Christ The mouth is a window for your thoughts. Never forget that. My advice today: Focus your thoughts. Focus your words. Remove the distractions. It’s not easy, but boundaries and focus are pivotal to achieving your purpose. “Success demands singleness of purpose.” -Vince Lombardi #leadershipcoach #leadwell #bebetter #leadershipmatters #leadershipdevelopment #leader #leadwell #grace #graceleadership

🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ 💨 FINDING YOUR MOMENTUM 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ 💨 Have you ever stopped for a moment and thought about the momentum that carries you through the day? How do you find it? Sustain it? Allow it to carry you? Different things work for different people. I wake up every morning and go for a walk within the first hour of waking up. Something about the fresh air elevates my mood, gives me the motivation I need to keep going for the rest of the day, and clears my head for the work I’m going to do. For one of my employees, she calls her Dad each morning and chats with him before work. It helps her regulate her emotions and makes her feel supported before the day starts. Another one of my employees takes a warm shower and relaxes with some tea before beginning their work for the day. Though different actions, they all help us find our momentum. How do you find your momentum each morning? #momentum #smallbusiness #womanowned #pocowned #leadership #coaching #lifecoach #lifecoaching #motivationalspeaking #motivaionalspeaker #motivational

Research from Blue Zones shows that knowing your purpose can add years to your life and fulfillment to your days. As leaders and coaches, helping others discover and act on their 'why' is more than motivational—it’s a pathway to longer, healthier, and happier lives. Over the past weeks I have had the opportunity to look afresh and re-discover my own purpose for being with the help of Nick Heap and his creative and fun 'core process'. It is a journey of self-discovery that results in a pair of words that capture the essence of who you are, that is, you at your best. The results of this experience have been enriching in many ways both personally and professionally. My core process was revealed as Growing Love which resonated deeply with me. These words reflect the essence of what I love to do in serving others. Through deep listening, encouraging you to bring your gifts into the light and lives of others, igniting your best thinking and self-expression, developing the leader within you and appreciating the goodness surrounding us. With this re-discovery of my core-process it helps my decision making and leads to greater fulfilment in all I do. A deeper insight revealed is that our core process works both ways. There are times when I need to replenish and re-energise in order to grow love with and for others. Taking time out of my working week to lunch with friends, go for a run or a walk in the woods is an essential way of being to sustaining and living on purpose each day. Having experienced this process for myself. I have had the privilege now of sharing with clients and others in supporting a transition or change they are currently going through. It continues to be robust and deeply meaningful experience for us both. What about you, I wonder if you would like to re-discover what you were put on this planet to do? If you would like to discover more about Core Process, I highly recommend Nick and his invaluable work via his website in the comments below. #purpose #leadership #coaching #listening
