It was great for MSD to have a substantial presence this week in London at Life Science Week and Jefferies conference, including the European BD team and members of our senior leadership. London became a hotspot for innovation this week with entrepreneurs, biotech and pharma companies as well as global investors mingling in the city. Some have called Jefferies ‘the JP Morgan of Europe’ and as a Londoner I am proud this event is on our doorstep and also bodes very well for the European biotech scene. One highlight for MSD was recognition of Eyebio, a truly innovative ophthalmology company created by SVLS which we acquired this year, winning two awards - at the European Lifestars Awards and the #OBN Awards - as M&A Deal of the Year and Best Emerging Biotech Company of the Year, respectively. #JefferiesHealthcare #LLSW #MSDemployee
