#DAYS59/100 #EmbeddedSystemProgramming Today, I successfully completed the configuration of the Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) in both Single Conversion Mode and Continuous Conversion Mode. 🔧 Single Conversion Mode: Configured for a one-time conversion, ideal for applications where conversion needs to occur at specific intervals or when the conversion result is required only once. 🔄 Continuous Conversion Mode: Set up for continuous sampling and conversion, allowing real-time data acquisition in applications that demand uninterrupted data flow. This milestone not only reinforces my understanding of ADCs but also enhances my practical experience in configuring peripheral modules for embedded systems. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲: 👉 Efficient power supply regulation is crucial. 👉 Even idle peripherals can consume significant power. 👉 Different protocols have varying power demands. 👉 Managing power in wireless components is essential. 👉 Processors are major power consumers but can also help manage energy usage with advanced algorithms. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 ✅ Selecting a processor with suitable low-power modes and excellent performance per watt is extremely important. ✅ Algorithms should be developed to run efficiently on the target hardware, and optimised as much as possible. ✅ The power design should also be tuned for very high efficiencies because bad design and management can lead to overheating issues in high performance systems.
