1. Set Up: Select the right cameras and equipment (such as cables and a DVR/NVR) and identify the main regions that need to be covered. 2. Mount Cameras: Place cameras in key spots for the best protection and perspectives. 3. Install cords: Install video and power cords from cameras to the DVR/NVR, or connect IP cameras to a network. 4. Set Up the System: Attach the cameras to the DVR or NVR, adjust the parameters, and check the video streams. 5. Complete and Secure: Verify that the system is operating properly, secure connections, and adjust camera angles.

I go into more useful scenarios with the new POE Power Splitter Device. It is a POE to 12V DC Converter With POE Passthrough. In this video, I use the device with a camera that has alarm I/O. I use some led light strips, a siren and a strobe controller to create an extremely loud and flashy deterrence camera. All of the devices are managed over 1 network cable run.
