Here are ways you can abuse the naira: Spraying: It is illegal to spray banknotes at events. Writing: Writing on banknotes is prohibited by law. Stapling: Stapling banknotes is prohibited by law due to the potential for corrosion caused by the pins. Tearing: Tearing banknotes is also illegal. Dancing or stamping on naira: Dancing or stamping on naira banknotes is prohibited by law. Getting oil or ink on the banknotes can be considered a form of defacing. Selling: Selling currency banknotes is illegal. Mutilation: Anyone caught tampering with the naira note will face legal consequences, as stated in the CBN Act Section 21. Rejecting the naira: Rejecting the naira is strictly prohibited by law (Section 20, Subsection 5). Money bouquets: In February 2023, the CBN also identified money bouquets as a type of naira abuse.

When signing an NCNDA-IMFPA, which one is better, using the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) template or a custom template? A ICC template is convenient for its standardization but may not address all specific needs, especially when dealing with intermediaries from countries like China, India, Russia, Brazil, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. Customizing the template can better accommodate unique circumstances. Key items to include in a NCNDA-IMFPA are: 1) Ensure the agreement adheres to the laws of all involved countries. 2) Specify the official language and include provisions for translations if needed. 3) Outline an internationally recognized arbitration process and ensure enforceability. 4) Seek advice from local experts to ensure compliance with national laws. 5) Clearly define payment schedules, amounts, and conditions to ensure timely and accurate payments. When using a normal bank account instead of escrow services, intermediaries may protect themselves by: 1) Define payment amounts, due dates, and conditions clearly. 2) Use irrevocable instructions to ensure automatic payment transfers upon Seller receipt of payment from Buyer. 3) Secure guarantees from reputable banks to cover fees if buyers default. 4) Regular monitoring/check to ensure compliance and accurate payments. 5) Specify a clear jurisdiction and dispute resolution mechanism. Protect your hard earn commission well. You have put in unbelievable effort and gone through countless of heart attacks and sleepless nights. www.capfixasia.com #RJ #NCNDA #IMFPA #CapFiX #Agricommodity #HealthcarePPE
