With this flagship event, Italy strengthens its economic competitiveness 🇮🇹 I'm on my way to Parma. But not because of the world-famous prosciutto, the rich culture or the architectural masterpieces from the Romanesque and Renaissance eras. My path leads me straight to SPS Italia, the trade fair that showcases the latest developments, technologies and innovations in the field of industrial automation. From networked production systems to robotics and AI. Considering the necessity of Industry 4.0, medium-sized companies in particular can gain a lot of valuable impulses to prepare themselves intelligently, sustainably and, above all, competitively for the future. After all, small and medium-sized companies in particular, which also are the backbone of the Italian economy, often find it difficult to make the necessary investments for the implementation of IIoT technologies. Funding is not always sufficient, let alone accessible. Sluggish bureaucratic processes, high energy costs, a shortage of skilled workers and high tax burdens are not making the problem any smaller 🤌🏻 It is therefore all the more important that SPS Italia offers a platform where companies can gain direct insights into functioning use cases and get to know automation solutions at first hand. This year, PlasmaSolve has been traveling A LOT 🛫 🛬 . We have already been to the 🇺🇸hashtag #SVCTechCon🇺🇸 , 🇺🇸hashtag #ICMCTF🇺🇸 trade shows and we are going to 🇪🇺hashtag #PSE🇩🇪 in September, as well as several regional events throughout the year. Supporting such a presence for a small company like ours has always been a challenge ... for obvious reasons 💸 💸💸 . But this year, it got significantly easier thanks to Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and their pro-export programme, where they covered about 50% of our travel expenses for trade shows. And that makes a big difference! I think this is a great example of meaningful government incentive - focused, well-defined, aimed at small companies👏 🙌 👏🙌 👏. We are proud to represent European and Czech industry overseas as well as close to home 🇪🇺🇨🇿! And a part of the funds we save is re-invested to sponsoring these wonderful events, so everybody wins 😉 . Project „Export support for PlasmaSolve through participation in international events in 2024“, reg. no. CZ.01.02.01/04/23_017/0001928 is co-funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to strengthen PlasmaSolve's export activities through participation in international events. These are three specific international conferences and trade fairs, which are among the most important events in the coating technology industry.
