"Why would anyone want a FLAT seltzer!?" It's crazy to think 4 years ago NOCA Beverages was run out of Galen Hand's family log cabin...hand selling a few hundred cans a month at best. Three finance nerds who wanted to go up against industry titans with the "Anti-Seltzer". Our idea for a smoother bubble-free boozin experience was laughed out of more retail and distributor meetings than I can remember. "why would anyone want a FLAT seltzer!?" Fast forward to today and those same industry titans are launching products with tag lines like "bubble free, non-carbonated, no bloating" NOCA Beverages now sells millions of cans a MONTH and is about to break into the Top 50 suppliers in the country. I don't say this to brag. I say this to tip my hat to all the investors, friends & family, amazing customers, and dead loyal employees that never gave up on us... We promise to never cut corners on quality or creativity. HUGE things in the works! Below is our first advertisement....#content #marketing #viral #beverage #consumergoods #noca #lemonade #tea #nocarbonation

If milk gets bad, it becomes yoghurt. Yoghurt is more valuable than milk. If it gets even worse, it turns to cheese. Cheese is more valuable than both yoghurt and milk. And if grape juice turns sour, it transforms into wine, which is even more expensive than grape juice. You are not bad because you made mistakes. Mistakes are the experiences that make you more valuable as a person. Christopher Columbus made a navigational error that made him discover America. Alexander Fleming’s mistake led him to invent Penicillin. Don’t let your mistakes get you down. It is not practice that makes perfect. It is mistakes we learn from that makes perfect! copied from another source picture taken at recently held medical conference in SICC, Kota kinabalu, Sabah.

In subscribers' inboxes today: A video conversation that unpacks the occasion, dosage, and consumer for THC beverages. We're chatting with Phil McFarland, U.S. general manager of Wherehouse Beverage Co., which produces the THC drink brands WYNK™ and Countdown. After a career in craft beer, McFarland has been all-in on weed. Our conversation dissects the building blocks of cannabev: Who is the consumer? What do they want? What is a “dose” of weed? How is the market bifurcating, and what does channel-product fit have to do with it? Join us for consumer insights that will be applicable to any company, whether or not they make THC drinks: https://lnkd.in/g6_AcGjk

Sometimes you just need a good proxy. Folks in the wine industry from producers to retailers are scared out of their wits to say anything that might even suggest that wine isn't as bad for you as the Neo-Prohibitionists say it is. They are afraid of lawsuits and pushback by the Feds. Well, there's a way to push back against many of the most outlandish claims ("No Safe Level of Alcohol Consumption) using one of the best tools out there: Books. This is the free-for-all issue of the Fermentation Substack in which I discuss the fear and the book to combat that fear.

With recreational cannabis being legalized in new states each year, the industry is seeing a shift from alcohol to THC. As we know, younger generations entering the market as consumers have the ability to impact sales in a multitude of ways. In this case, Millennials tend to engage in effect pairing, but Gen Z is straying from alcohol, preferring cannabis or psychedelics due to the pandemic resetting focus away from social settings. This trend has tremendous implications for the growth of the cannabis market nationwide and we are seeing it reflected in sales.
I had an interesting conversation with a great company in the THC space yesterday. They are looking to do exciting work to gain insights into our THC customers to grow the category. As part of the conversation and explaining the business, I took a moment to look at Q1 sales. As I’ve indicated before, THC is over 10% of our business. What I discovered yesterday were some interesting and fun facts. Year To Date: * THC sales exceed our entire craft beer category. *THC sales exceed any subsection of wine (chardonnay, or cabernet Sauvignon, etc.). *THC sales exceed our entire vodka sales by volume. These results have been achieved in less than 10 months since we launched the category. We want to aggressively grow the category. We are looking for partners that can meet our category needs to help us continue our expansion: Quality, Innovation and Value for our customers. Please reach out to Mike Borgertpoepping or me to be part of our exciting expansion. Top Ten Liquors. Mike Borgertpoepping.

As I reflect on this Sunday, I am reminded of the key principles that underpin success in both personal and professional spheres, particularly within the context of our healthy beverages production business - Spraga Beverages. It is a time to contemplate the importance of long-term thinking, quick decision-making under pressure, unwavering focus, and the power of teamwork. Long-term success in our venture demands more than just short-sighted actions; it requires a strategic vision that spans months and years. Today, I am reminded to invest our collective energy in decisions that will yield enduring benefits for Spraga Beverages, even if they require patience and persistence. In the face of deadlines and challenges, the ability to think on our feet is indispensable. Sundays offer a moment to appreciate the value of swift, decisive action, especially when time is of the essence. It is a reminder to trust our instincts and act promptly when opportunities arise. Amidst the distractions of the week ahead, maintaining focus on our goals can be a challenge. But Sundays serve as a reset button, a chance to realign our priorities and recommit to the tasks that truly matter for the success of Spraga Beverages. With a clear vision and determination, we can navigate the week ahead with purpose and clarity. Lastly, Sundays are a time to recognise the strength that comes from collaboration and teamwork within the team. Whether in personal relationships or professional endeavours, success is often achieved through the collective effort of like-minded individuals who believe in the project and are prepared to work hard, even beyond standard hours and sacrificing weekend time. Today, I am grateful for the dedication of our team and inspired to foster a spirit of unity and cooperation at Spraga Beverages as we work towards establishing one of the largest healthy drinks facilities in the Czech Republic.
