See the complete interior disassembly here in just 4 simple steps: 1) Pull out the dish rack 2) Pull out the spray arm 3) Unlock, and pull out the chrome filter tray 4) Unlock the pump/rotor and pull out (note alignment of all tabs for reassembly) Why do I love the Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer??? - Wipe out the basin, rinse/clean the arm, tray, and pump, then reassemble! NO special tools needed, except your two hands! 👍 𝗧𝗜𝗣𝗦: 1) Upon removing pump/rotor, check all 3 drain channels (1 large, 2 small) for obstructions. Use a pipe cleaner (large channel), weed trimmer string (2 small channels), etc. A plunger can even be used, worst case. 2) Clean the removable filter WEEKLY (throw it in the other Drawer), and perform a complete cleaning shown here at least TWICE a year. #preventivemaintenance #appliancetroubleshooting #preventivemaintenance #fisherpaykel #dishdrawer #kitchenappliances #myoldhousefix

🤨What is the point of nozzle extensions? Does more weight ⚖ and length📏 actually change the functionality of jetting with a nozzle? In short - yes! Nozzle extensions are not just a safety device to keep the nozzle in the pipe so that it doesn't turn and go up a house lateral 🔘⬆🏠 or come back towards the operator🤕 But also, Extensions keep the nozzles centered🎯 in the pipe to allow the high-pressure water streams located on the nozzle to work and remove debris. To use an extension properly: 1️⃣ Slide the tiger tail on the leader hose 2️⃣ Screw the nozzle extension onto the hose 3️⃣ Add the nozzle to the extension That's not all! Make sure to tighten the whole set-up🔧 If using a rotation nozzle, it is mandatory to use a pipe wrench to tighten everything. ⛔️ problem : sparking during turning on. Through examination it was found damage in the rotor's commutator because of using poor typs of carbon brushes and additional using over load . 🚫 Action: in this cases we have to make a rotor replacement after checking the stator carefully To ensure the safety of the change process with emphasis on installation good carbon brushes . 🎯 Advice : carbon brushes is playing a vital role in long life of the rotor , so you have to always make sure of using good typs of it . #maintenance #Tool_reparing #Crown_Tools #APT_Tools
