A home run for the world's forests! 🌲 I’m thrilled to share that iconic global sports brand, adidas, has signed on to Canopy's #CanopyStyle and #Pack4Good initiatives to ensure its fabrics and paper packaging are not sourced from climate-critical forests. In partnership with Canopy, adidas is committed to changing the game by: • Eliminating sourcing from the world’s Ancient and Endangered Forests • Greater adoption of low-impact circular and #NextGen solutions, such as recycled textiles to next season's jersey and using agricultural residue to make their paper packaging Their commitment sends a clear signal to the sports apparel industry that a sustainable future is the only way forward for leading businesses. The addition of adidas now brings the CanopyStyle initiative to 550 brands representing $1 trillion USD in annual revenue, and the Pack4Good initiative to more than 400 brands representing $ 202 billion.
