Just days after US whistleblowers confirmed the existence of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), commonly known as UFOs, the Pentagon has announced the deployment of its new Gremlin surveillance capabilities. The Gremlin system, developed by the Georgia Tech Research Institute, will be deployed in the first quarter of FY 2025 to support pattern-of-life analysis and enhance UAP detection, tracking, and characterization. Despite the heightened surveillance, the Pentagon maintains that there is no evidence of extraterrestrial beings. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) reported 757 UAP incidents from May 1, 2023, to June 1, 2024, with many resolved as prosaic objects like balloons and drones. However, several cases remain unresolved. 🚁 Exciting Developments in Counter-UAS Technology! 🚁 Thrilled to share the groundbreaking Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) exercise at Fort Drum, New York, by CENTCOM, 1st BCT 10th MTN, and CDAO. The Desert Guardian 1.0 exercise focuses on improving our capabilities to sense, detect UAS threats while integrating new and existing sensors into a third party interface. By integrating cutting-edge sensors and innovative technologies, a unified command and control framework is being created. *Gaza destruction:* 🇮🇱Israeli data on destruction caused to Gaza’s infrastructure by the ongoing war points to far less damage than that reported internationally, Ynet reports, citing internal analysis conducted by the Israel Defense Forces. The Israeli data points to 16%, or some 36,000 of Gaza’s permanent structures, damaged beyond repair in the war. UN data has pointed to some 50%, based on surveys of satellite photos, while reports in some media outlets, also based on analysis of satellite data, have alleged as much as 70% of buildings have been destroyed. The Israeli data is based on extensive aerial surveillance by drones and other aircraft as well as 3D imaging on the ground level, all of which are being conducted on an ongoing basis, the report says.
