Stop for a moment and think... Where did they come from? How many fights have they fought? How much hunger have they gone through? How many wars have they experienced? How many vicissitudes did our ancestors survive? On the other hand, how much love, strength, joy and encouragement did they bequeath us? How much of their strength to survive, each one of them had and left within us so that we are alive today.

Fathers raising fathers- this is one of the greatest blessings and privileges from God. What a joy to celebrate my father on Father's Day. Thank you, Grandpa, for the rich foundation upon which we have all been raised. Your sacrifices, nurturing, and blessings have not gone unnoticed. We, your children and grandchildren are mighty upon the earth because of you. We call you blessed (Psalm 112:2). On this day, I join the world in wishing all fathers a Happy Father's Day. Do you remember the name of your great-grandad? I was thinking about my own legacy on Father’s Day, and of course, it’s great to share it with your children. A sunny or soggy BBQ is always a favourite in my household. But as I reflected on the future and the wealth trees I am planting for my next generations, I pondered a question about my own great-grandfathers, and I was saddened to realise I have no idea who they were, what they stood for, or how their legacy was left. In my view, legacy is about passing on finances, wisdom, and values. This is a big motivator for me. I want to leave a long-lasting legacy that is celebrated and not forgotten. The best way to do this is by creating a family charter, and I’m creating a template for anyone who shares this motivation to leave a legacy to be proud of.
