Here’s to a new chapter. Friday marks the end of my two years with Neovia Logistics. Monday I start a new chapter but this post will focus on my time with Neovia. The past two years have been one of growth, development and results. I’ve seen so much change in my two years here but the one thing that has remained is that in logistics it’s all about People, Process and Systems. Building the team I’ve built has been a great source of pride. It’s a team that all bring something different to the table in terms of skills but at the end of the day they understand that if one falls then we all fall. There are many things I am proud of during my time but the team I leave behind is by far my biggest source of pride. That being said - Reduction of safety incidents with 4 sites going over a year incident free. Attrition down 12% Perm2temp % up 10% Quality improved 15% Service improved 8% IB Productivity up 8% OB productivity up 12% Beat my EBITDA business plan as well as delivering cost reductions for my clients. The one that I’m most proud of - 5 internal promotions. It’s been a great two years and I wish those I leave behind nothing but the best. Now on to the next chapter for which I will post about Monday. People, Process, Systems!

Please watch this short video to see how we plan to celebrate for our employee appreciation week at Central Transport!
As we kick off Driver Appreciation Week, hear from our leadership team about the essential role our drivers play at Central Transport! It's important to reflect on the incredible contributions of our team of over 4,000 drivers here at Central Transport, as well as the truck drivers from around the country. They are the backbone of the U.S. supply chain, ensuring that goods move seamlessly across the country. Your hard work, dedication, and relentless commitment to safety and service are truly the driving force behind our success. Our leaders recognize that without you, none of this would be possible. You've transformed how we do business, ensuring our customers receive the best service possible. This week, we honor you, but our appreciation extends every day of the year. #CTPride #DriverAppreciationWeek

From a business perspective, I believe there is an undeniable correlation between how much companies appreciate their employees, and the level of customer service said employees are apt to provide. When staff members feel valued and supported by their organization’s management, they are more likely to go above and beyond not only for their customers but for themselves. This, in turn, leads to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty, creating a positive cycle of return business. This was certainly the case when Gordon Bethune took the helm of Continental Airlines in the 1990s and transformed the company from one of the measurably worst airlines to being placed in Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” six years in a row. Bethune was a truly inspiring leader who brought out the best in the employees under his care. It’s a pity that most executives these days fail to learn from those past examples of success that would allow their staff and organizations to thrive in today’s challenging business climate.
