Functional outcome is one of the things we need to emphasize apart from anatomical reattachment in rrd surgery. This study highlighted what we can look for to achieve good functional vision post operative.
We are excited to share our most recent work on morphological features of regulated vs dysregulated rhegmatogenous retinal detachment just published in the American Journal of Ophthalmology. This differentiation although simple has significant clinical implications for management.

Healthcare cybersecurity has never been more critical, with the risks to patient safety and business continuity growing every day. At MyRxWallet, we understand the urgency of this challenge and are fully equipped to transform healthcare cybersecurity. Our blockchain-powered platform and tamper-proof technology ensure that patient data remains secure and immutable, virtually eliminating the threat of unauthorized access or data manipulation. With AI-driven monitoring, we offer real-time protection, detecting and neutralizing threats before they cause harm. By decentralizing data management through our Web3 infrastructure, we prevent single points of failure, dramatically reducing the risk of breaches that can compromise entire systems. At MyRxWallet, we’re not just meeting the moment; we’re redefining healthcare cybersecurity for the future. With our solutions, providers can focus on delivering care, knowing their systems and patient data are secure. Let’s build a safer, more resilient healthcare infrastructure—together. #Cybersecurity #HealthcareInnovation #Blockchain #AI #DataSecurity #Web3 #MyRxWallet #HealthcareTransformation

Thanks to Dr. Rosetta Pietro for this opportunity and to Dr Gianmaria Barone and Francesco Santoru for their precious collaboration in publishing this study conducted at the Department of Ophthalmology, Humanitas San Pio X, Milan. The study evaluates the outcomes of transepithelial iontophoresis cross-linking (I-CXL) in managing early keratoconus in patients under 25. 📊 Key Findings: - **Patient Profile:** High visual acuity (LogMAR ≤ 0.2) and early keratoconus treated with I-CXL. - **Outcome Stability:** After a 24-month follow-up, no significant changes in key metrics such as CDVA, keratometry, or corneal thickness were observed. - **Safety and Effectiveness:** None of the patients exhibited keratoconus progression during the follow-up period. - **Potential Benefits:** I-CXL emerges as a minimally invasive option for less advanced patients, offering an alternative to standard epithelium-off CXL.
