If it’s Saturday… It’s time for the weekly “Cool Things My Friends Do” post- Meet the Keynote Speakers for the Austin Technology Council “C-Suite Summit & Industry Think Tank!” (This Monday, Oct 28th from 1:00-6:00 PM at St Edward’s University). I’m thrilled to highlight two incredible leaders from local tech companies who will keynote this year’s Summit. Although I am not close friends with either (yet), working on this event, I’ve been blown away by their vision and impact. Razat Gaurav, CEO of Planview, has been leading the company for about three years, scaling it to double its size and with even more ambitious plans ahead. Razat will speak about growing and scaling organizations, but he’ll also touch on the vital role community plays in business growth—a topic close to my heart. John Nehme , CEO of Allies Against Slavery, will close the event with a talk that exemplifies the power of technology for the greater good. John’s work is proof of how tech can be leveraged to create real, positive impact in society, tackling issues that matter deeply. These presentations are going to be phenomenal, and they are both examples of the leadership, innovation, and community spirit that exists in the C-Suite of our local tech companies.
