3 key takeaways from my fabulous week in the Middle East (plus a PS!) ... 1) The mix of people from a vast range of cultures, countries and backgrounds makes it a really stimulating, energising place to be. Plus there is a sense of camaraderie and friendship amongst those who have chosen to relocate to the region. 2) Saudi Arabia is a signficiant, fast growing market for professional services firms. A number of international firms are announcing office openings and there is much competition for BD & Marketing professionals. Arabic speakers are highly sought after. 3) BD & Marketing teams are still pretty lean in the Middle East. It can be challenging from a workload persepctive but does mean people often work on a variety of projects, keeping things interesting. PS Hoda Mana has done a wonderful job leading KM Talent's growth in the region. There is a real sense of community amongst BD, Marketing & Comms professionals.
