A well-educated woman not only raises one person but the entire generation. A mother is a child's first teacher. Children's first learning environment is their mother's lap. I was interviewing someone, I questioned the interviewee regarding women's education. He answered me in a very good way; he said, "Marwa! If my sister, mother, or my wife gets ill, I would always be willing to take them to a female doctor. Where do those female doctors come from? Obviously from our homes. I would give you an example of Afghanistan. There are many such households that do not have male guardians. A woman is compelled to become the guarantor of her home to take care of her home and family. With her efforts, an educated woman can earn haq halal money. We should not always put all the responsibilities over men, recognizing that he is a man. He is accountable for everything. Women should stand shoulder by shoulder with men ensuring that women do not burden society such that having to feed them causes stress. Why are we creating such circumstances in which women become a burden to us? Why aren't we creating circumstances where women can support their father, brother, and spouse? If your sister or wife is educated, she won't burden you but she will be a helping hand to you. She will assist you in supporting your family. She won't be viewed as a burden by you. The final option is marriage to marry her to someone. Marriage is not the only solution. I have witnessed such compelled ladies who have lost their husbands and have had their family deny them access to education and career opportunities. She is sometimes forced to marry her brother-in-law, and other times she gets kicked out of her house. Her family and in-laws refuse to keep her and their children. Her home gets destroyed, so she becomes forced to sell her children, commit suicide, or engage in immoral behavior. All those things should be kept in mind, and we should keep our eyes open! Let's support Afghan girls' education for a brighter future. #LetAfghanGirlsLearn

Denying them education serves nobody’s interest inthe country. There isn’t a single verse, Hadith, example or legal precedence for denying girls and allowing boys edication anywhere let alone Afghanistan. Everyone knows the advantage of a nation that is educated. People in Afghanistan need to start asking who are the Taliban working for?
