"In the next few years, almost every job function will have a co-pilot to assist them and an agentic AI," says Kanchan Ray, CTO, Nagarro. Catch his interview from Web Summit, where he shares how #AI is set to transform the way we work. 🚀 #FluidicEnterprise
Whereas Copilot would be something little bit more collaborative. Humans will have more control over it, right. A good example would be a lot of developers are using, you know, copilot tools. A lot of the key testers are using Copilot tools. I do see in the next year or so, almost every job function will have a Copilot to assist them and an agentic. Yeah, if I'm, if I'm the underwriter for insurance, I'll have a copilot. The one of the best example at least we have implemented. Always think of you are selling your used car. You go there, there's a guy who comes in, looks at the car for about half an hour, finds out what's wrong with the car, scratches all of that, then gives you a price. In the new paradigm, what I do is I take iPad, move around, take a video. From the video, I extract the images from that. I see what's the scratch? There's a dent. I automatically figure out, is it worth repairing it? Is it worth replacing it? I give you a price. So what used to take, let's say 30 minutes, now that person can do it in five to seven minutes, and I'm removing the human bias.
I remember during my tenure with Nagarro, while working for Cox Automotive we did presented this idea (Auto Inspection) to them.
Absolutely true, In the near future, nearly every job will have an AI co-pilot, designed to assist and augment human capabilities in tasks ranging from decision-making to routine operations. These agentic AIs will not only support professionals but also take autonomous actions, enhancing productivity and efficiency across all industries. As a result, the workplace will evolve into a collaborative environment where humans and AI work seamlessly together.
