This thursday, I got to attend Pathways to Tech event as part of my Headstarter AI Fellowship. This event was really inspiring and I would like to share some of my insights from the discussion of the panelists: Dustin Beadle (Former AMD director): Talked about how important collaboration is to do important things. Besides just having technical skills, communication also makes you stand out as a candidate. Logan Havern (Founder of Datalogz): Talked about enterprises and importance of business. His experience made me realize how important it was to take initiative and be confident. Nabeel Alamgir🦄 (Founder of Lunchbox): I was really impressed at the fact that he managed to raise $100M for his company because it highlighted his journey of hardship and dealing with rejection before achieving that goal. There is no need to oversell yourself, you will eventually find someone who likes what you have but for that you have to face rejection. Shariar Kabir and Miguel Acero (Founders of Ruby): They did a good job of emphasizing how to utilize resources that are available and building products. They were open to new ideas and exploring it, so there are always risks involved when you step out in the actual industry. Sorry , a bit late to the party but What an incredible experience at #DevFestGurgaon! 🚀 Participating in DevFest Gurgaon was an amazing experience as far as technology, creativity and community is concerned. Starting from the interesting sessions delivered by professionals, to the motivational sessions with other enthusiasts, the event was filled with knowledge and networking opportunities(and also some amazing goodies too🥳). I would love to mention something about these sessions below: 1. Transforming Business Ideas into Reality with AI Speaker: Shivangi Singh The session focused on tools and strategies to effectively implement AI for building and scaling entrepreneurial ventures. It provided actionable insights for those aiming to integrate AI into their business models. 2. Small Footprint AI Agents using Golang & Genkit Speaker: Anubhav Singh Deep dive on creation of light-weight AI agents using Golang and Genkit; techniques to create an efficient and memory-friendly AI system. 3. Gemini with Decentralized, Protocol-Based Open Networks Speaker: Gariyasi Garg This session focussed on decentralising artificial and intellectual machines which through Gemini as well as Beckn Protocol is actually developing scalable, robust, and reliable solutions. 4. Shivaay: India's Foundational AI Model By Rudransh Agnihotri (FuturixAI and Quantum Works ) The talk revealed about the challenges of developing the AI in India. Presenting innovations like Shivaay, a foundational model, and their open-sourced Text-to-Speech (TTS). A huge shoutout to the organizers at GDG Gurugram for assembling such a wonderful event and enabling such a great environment for people to be creative and collaborative. Appreciate being part of this active developer community that always find new ways and new directions of creativity.
