Zabbix Error when creating an SNMP v3 host on GUI: "Timeout while connecting to {IP}" Here is how to solve it: - make sure there is connectivity between zabbix and the host (using ping/telnet) - use snmpwalk on zabbix server to see if you can get info from host - change the "Timeout=4" to "Timeout=10" on "/etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf" file (add it if not present) - restart zabbix server using "sudo systemctl restart zabbix-server" It took me 2 days to find the solution 😀
