🚨 Our sales team had an incredibly productive week attending two significant events across multiple market sectors! 📍In Newport, Luke Gibbs, James Dyer and Will Hadler represented our company at the Highway Electrical Association (HEA) Annual Conference and Exhibition held at the stunning Celtic Manor resort. Their focus was on our innovative Street Lighting solutions, highlighting shallow-depth, impact-resistant foundations and underground access chambers, designed to streamline maintenance and accelerate installations. 🛠 ℹ For more information on our Street Lighting Solutions: 💻 https://lnkd.in/e_UzbV_C 📍 Meanwhile, in Milton Keynes, Ryan Churchill was joined by FILOform UK & Ireland colleague Doug Brown at the APEA Live event at the Marshall Arena, a cornerstone in the petroleum industry. Ryan showcased our flagship Universal EV Dispenser foundation for 150+ kW high-power chargers, which has been successfully implemented nationwide for large-scale EV hubs, from service stations to retail parks. ℹ For more details on our HPC foundation: 💻 https://lnkd.in/eBvUjxe9 🤝 We extend our gratitude to everyone who took the time to connect with our teams at both events. We eagerly anticipate following up on conversations to support your upcoming projects and schemes. A special thanks to the Highway Electrical Association (HEA) for another engaging event and to SAS Event & Association Management for their planning behind the scenes. Additionally, thank you to Full Circle Events & Exhibitions for their support in creating a fantastic stand for the APEA. #StreetLighting #EVSolutions #EVInfrastructure #Networking #NALSocket #EVFoundations

The Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom has provided £300,000 in funding to Paua PINS (Private Infrastructure Network Solution) for a project to make EV infrastructure sharing a reality for fleets. The funding has been provided through the department’s Transport Decarbonisation Demonstrators programme, delivered by Innovate UK. Paua, Cenex, Oxfordshire County Council and Suffolk County Council will collaborate with leading fleets, industry bodies and software providers over a 10-month period to deliver the project. This comes after the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) recently discovered 62 per cent of fleets would consider co-operative agreements with other fleets to share EV charging infrastructure. ESOS Phase 4 is now underway with the first reporting deadline being 5th December 2024 – do you have the necessary energy software in place to give you clear, tangible data? Changes to the legislative guidance have been introduced to strengthen the quality of ESOS reporting and encourage the uptake of recommendations. Organisations will now need to define an Action Plan and report on progress against this in subsequent years. We can help you with our UK-leading energy management software, because your ESOS reporting will only be as good as the data you're collecting: https://lnkd.in/dshp2T7t #ESOS #EnergySoftware #EnergyReporting

Here’s how we recommend choosing between the Roger BE20 and Smarty series for residential properties: ✅ Choose the Roger BE20 series if you're installing a gate in an area with relatively mild weather. ✅ Choose the Smarty series if your client has a higher budget and their property is located in a very windy or snowy area, or if they require more intensive use overall as the Smarty series is specifically designed for high-intensity use and performs better in more challenging environments. cc: Roger Technology s.r.l. #rogertechnology #electricgate #electricgatesupplier #automaticgate #automaticgatesupplier

It’s great to attend an event where you come out more educated than when you went in. The event at Cenex Expo was such an occasion 🧠 🏋♂️ One of the key reasons for attending was to learn more about the electrification of the HGV sector. Self Gen Energy is working with organisations to support them in their journey of electrification of transport....and increasingly the HGV sector. 🚛 Electrification Challenges 🚛 With eHGV infrastructure comes challenges, such as grid constraints. Some sites have a capacity of up to 20MVA. That’s the equivalent demand of 15-20K homes! which means you can apply micro-grid solutions to make the difficult possible. We’ve been supporting CPOs in the delivery of EV Hubs – DNO engagement, design of electrical infrastructure from the Point of Connection to the EV chargers, tendering for ICPs and IDNOs, and ensuring seamless delivery and adoption by an IDNO. HGV infrastructure takes that ask to a new level. At Self Gen Energy we love to share our learning with you 💓

LED-lights for level crossings in Belgium https://bit.ly/48OgnGw Infrabel, the Belgian rail infrastructure manager, has announced a comprehensive action plan aimed at enhancing safety and punctuality across the railway network. The initiative comes in response to a rise in incidents at level crossings. Infrabel’s action plan adopts a multidisciplinary approach, focusing on prevention, enforcement, and swift resolution of incidents. Another measure is the continued installation of LED lights on barriers to enhance visibility. This LED lighting provides better visibility of the level crossing and is an additional tool (particularly for motorists) to improve local road safety. At present, 20 crossings are equipped with these LEDs, and analysis by the Vias Institute shows that there is a positive trend and an improvement in behaviour.

This summer, our Energy Efficiency Assistance (EEA) team installed nearly 1,000 free air conditioners in customers’ homes. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to support our low-income and vulnerable customers, as the demand for cooling can be a health necessity and financial burden. Our EEA team assists our customers in need with a focus on providing resources that support their health and safety. We are investing nearly $5 million this year to address home repairs that could prevent energy-efficient measures from being installed, to help increase our customers' overall comfort. By applying a whole-home approach to delivering energy-efficient upgrades, our EEA team tackles the home improvements necessary for our customers who need it most. Scottish Borders Council is improving #PassengerExperience by installing solar powered bus stop displays. The Journeo displays also save the local authority money because of lower installation costs, with no expensive civil works, and no ongoing power charges. This is part of the Council’s long-term strategy to provide accurate and timely travel information in rural locations and increase the number of real time displays at bus stops. To learn more, read the link in the comments! #TransportTechnology #RTPI #ConnectedJourneys
