🎓 My MBA Journey: A Leap of Growth, Purpose, and Vision It feels surreal to say this, but I’ve officially completed my MBA specializing in Doing Business in Sub-Saharan Africa at Nexford University! This milestone is more than just a degree—it reflects resilience, ambition, and an unwavering desire to embrace new opportunities. My journey was as much about personal growth as it was about academic success. From diving into the complexities of Sub-Saharan Africa's business environment to sharpening my strategic and leadership capabilities, every step reinforced my vision: to contribute to building organizations where people and innovation thrive. The MBA didn’t just teach me what to think—it showed me how to think. It pushed me to challenge traditional systems, and as someone with a passion for organizational excellence, it deepened my belief that HR and administration aren’t just operational; they’re transformational. Now, I look to the future with a renewed sense of purpose: 🌟 To play a pivotal role in shaping inclusive, people-focused workplaces. 🌟 To champion impactful strategies that empower businesses across Sub-Saharan Africa. 🌟 To help bridge global ideas with local potential, creating value for both people and businesses. This is just the beginning of an exciting chapter. I’m thrilled to connect with like-minded professionals, leaders, and dreamers who believe in turning potential into progress. Let’s collaborate and grow together! #MBA #NexfordUniversity #NXU2024 #Graduation

𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙖 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝘼 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 🔥 I’ve witnessed the incredible journey of ISME from 2016 to its transformation into 𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲—a beacon of innovation and excellence in education. And to take it to the next level, yesterday I had an opportunity to meet Dr Indu Shahani, the Founding President of ATLAS SkillTech University A meeting that felt like being in the presence of a firestarter for change in education and leadership. What began as a simple exchange of ideas quickly turned into a dynamic and impactful discussion. In today’s context, where Hon. Prime Minister Modi is championing the vision of making India the global skill capital, with government, private, and deemed universities playing pivotal roles, leaders like Dr. Indu Shahani are setting the benchmarks for transformative change. Our conversation revolved around the synergy between education and entrepreneurship, where we explored innovative ways to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Dr. Indu Shahani’s approach to leadership offered several key takeaways: 1️⃣ 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Dr. Indu Shahani’s journey from leading H.R. College to establishing Atlas SkillTech University exemplifies how a clear mission can be turned into reality. Her relentless commitment to empowering students with skills for the future is both inspiring and actionable. 2️⃣ 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚-𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Her extensive experience on corporate boards like Colgate Palmolive and HSBC enables her to build impactful bridges between education and industry. This ensures students are equipped not only with knowledge but also with the practical skills needed for today’s competitive world. 3️⃣ 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: What stood out most was her ability to listen, connect, and inspire. Whether mentoring students, building international academic partnerships, or engaging in thoughtful discussions, Dr. Indu Shahani leads with empathy, creating an environment where ideas flourish and people thrive. Our discussion turned into a thought-provoking exchange of perspectives, leaving me deeply inspired to contribute meaningfully to the education and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Dr. Indu Shahani’s ability to transform ideas into effective strategies is a lesson in itself. I am sure Atlast University will continue to grow under Dr. Indu Shahani’s leadership and transform into one of the finest contributors for making India the global skill capital 💯🔥 #LeadershipLessons #Education #SkillDevelopment #AtlasSkillTech #Inspiration ATLAS SkillTech University. This is excellent news and makes me proud as an alumnus of this esteemed institute. I would like to share my personal view on what makes SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research unique, irrespective of rankings. I vividly remember when I had started applying for SPJIMR back in 2018. And in an instant, I could notice that it was different. While the form had the usual fields for education, work experiences, it also had a part B that asked questions like: 1. My biggest achievement at work 2. How did I resolve conflict with my manager? 3. What is one memory in my life that is close to my heart? 4. What was one moment where I went above and beyond? 5. Mention an incident where you helped out another person Essentially, this form also assesses a candidate based on their human values in addition to their educational and work achievements, giving a holistic profile, who get shortlisted for SPJIMR's unique profile-based calls. Even during the interviews, you are asked questions that test your empathetic skills, social sensitivity, ethical inclinations and overall psychological profile in addition to the usual management principles. There is no right answer here, but the approach on getting to the answer is where you get evaluated against SPJIMR values and culture. Throughout my time at the campus, these values have been reflected at every step. From my experience, empathy, social sensitivity and innovation are core values that are inculcated through various aspects of the program, whether it's the world-class design thinking course, which puts us into the user's perspective or the 4-day Personal Growth Lab (that was critical to our development) or Development of Corporate Citizenship, where we build social sensitivity. It's a carefully curated curriculum that not only grows the manager in us, but also the human being. And while not every course added value, it did move the needle a little bit in the right direction, enough to make an impact down the line! #SPJIMR
We can’t keep calm, we’re No. 1! 🎉 SPJIMR has been ranked as India’s #1 business school and #35 globally in the Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) rankings for 2024. This marks the second year in a row as India’s top-ranked school and our fifth consecutive year in the global top 50. Notably, we’ve also secured an impressive 7th place globally in the ‘Career Services’ category. On this achievement, Dean Varun Nagaraj, said: “This recognition reflects our commitment to creating a positive impact on business and society by advancing ‘wise innovation’. Our consistent performance among the world’s top 50 business schools is a testament to the dedication of our faculty and professional staff, the achievements of our alumni, and the partnerships we have cultivated with industry, the social sector, and academia, nationally and internationally. The recognition motivates us to push the boundaries of excellence further, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared to shape a better world.” Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/d_CBnYna #IamSPJIMR #No1BusinessSchool #FTMiM2024 #GlobalRanking #CareerServices #WiseInnovation #TopBusinessSchool #MiMRanking
