It is also a day to acknowledge the truth about our collective history. I encourage everyone to take time today to learn about the Indigenous history of the places where you live, work, and play. Consider donating your time or money to an Indigenous-led organization, and familiarize yourself with the 10 Guiding Principles of Reconciliation from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report.
