#Digital_Economy... The involvement of Government Organizations to encourage and motivate the #Digital_Economy is crucial to ensure its success. Where there are many aspects such government organizations can support to improve the #Digital_Economy, as an example that has been observed at #Barcelona where Barcelona Government created an incubator program for Start-up digital companies to support them, such as giving them lands, arrange Tech events and invite them to participate, also they play magnificent role to attract work and sales opportunities for them where they act as Demand and Supply channel between customers and these digital companies. The #Digital_Economy is the future and most countries nowadays are putting huge efforts to support it.

From South ☀️ to North ❄️, the #EU Tech world never stops! Web Summit in Lisboa #Portugal and Slush in Helsinki #Finland - two major tech and startup events not to be missed in Europe and NRW.Global Business was part of it. First, Web Summit. This year the German Minister of economic affairs Robert Habeck visited the fair and its German Pavillon. He insisted on one key point: cooperation rather than competition (the current political situation may influence this motto, who knows?). Whether you agree or disagree on this, a startup needs cooperation. First, through its local ecosystem (e.g. local and government trade and investment agencies), through academics, through customers. When you reflect on that, it makes totally sense to prioritize it. Second, Slush. This year’s leitmotiv was “metamorphosis”. Because of limited funding and climate change, startups have to readjust and adapt themselves. It’s obviously part of their DNA anyway. Still, this event is a must do for startup willing to meet investors. For that, better come prepared and prebook online your meeting via the app (20k prebooked meetings for 2024). From one fair to another, fair time is a great lead boost especially for our current grant called the Startup Welcome Package. I had the chance to meet our very first candidate on-site!
