🚀 Introducing SUPERLASER: Pioneering the future of sustainable lasing with ultra-precise, super-emissive perovskite technology! 🌍🔬 We are excited to announce the launch of SUPERLASER, a research project funded by the European Innovation Council, set to transform the future of laser technology! Coordinated by the NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" in Athens, this groundbreaking initiative brings together a consortium of 9 partners from 7 countries, with a budget of €3.6 million over the next three years. 💡 What makes SUPERLASER unique? Our aim is to create a new type of laser that achieves high performance, unprecedented precision, and environmental sustainability. By leveraging halide perovskite materials, the project will address the limitations of current laser technologies — such as linewidth stability, cost, and environmental impact — with an innovative approach combining new materials, device design, and eco-friendly manufacturing processes. Dr. Maria Vassilopoulou, Director of Research at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, emphasises: “SUPERLASER will push the boundaries of laser technology by creating lasers that are powerful, precise, and environmentally sustainable." 🔍 Why is this important? These innovations could significantly impact advanced technologies, including quantum computing, 6G communications, and precision measurements like gravitational wave detection. Stay tuned as we embark on this journey to push the frontiers of laser technology! ✨ #SUPERLASER #LasingTechnology #LaserTechnology #Perovskites #ScientificResearch #Innovation #EICPathfinder #EUfunded #HorizonEurope #DeepTech

Mohammed Alkhaled, a user of our EBPG system at Sabanci University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center in Istanbul, Turkey, is part of our satisfied customer community. As part of the launch of our new vision and mission, we asked our customers how they are challenging the frontiers of nanotechnology. Mohammed said his biggest challenge was the limited yield of nanolithography, which severely limits the number of NEMS designs they can attempt to use in mass sensing experiments. With the help of a RAITH EBPG system, he was able to overcome these challenges: "The utilization of the Raith EBPG (...) has been instrumental in revolutionizing our approach to nanofeature fabrication. This cutting-edge system not only offers state-of-the-art automation but also boasts exceptional precision, addressing the challenges inherent in our previous efforts. The transformative impact of the RAITH system lies in its ability to facilitate the simultaneous patterning of numerous devices during a single run. This operational efficiency has led to a remarkable increase in our yield, exceeding fivefold, all while maintaining the same preparation time. The automation features of the RAITH system not only streamline our workflow but also contribute significantly to the reproducibility and reliability of our nanofabrication processes, marking a substantial leap forward in our research endeavors." We are always delighted to hear about the great work our customers are doing and are excited to see what frontiers Mohammed will challenge in the future. His goal is to design patterns on transparent materials to streamline the manufacturing process and expand the range of potential applications for research.
