Perceptron is so simple that I could not believe it could be used for more complicated tasks than linear classification until I tried it myself. The range of the problems I would like to describe is so broad that I decided to dedicate the first story to the basic definitions and multiclass classification to allow myself more flexibility for referencing this writing in the future.

🔬 Track and measure microfluidic droplets! 🔬 🧪 When generating microfluidic droplets or particles, it is useful to measure their sizes in real time to ensure the success of the experiment. The OptoViewer software from Opto’s microscope (provided by Fluigent) includes a “Track Droplets” setting. This allows the user to analyzethe droplets & particles. Single cells or microfluidic droplets can be automatically detected, tracked, velocity measured, and volume determined or read out inline.
