I genuinely recommend that everyone, even if you're not looking to change jobs, maintain a certain frequency of interviews. Because when you do decide to make a move, it takes longer than you think. Why should you go for interviews even if you don't want to change jobs? 1.Understand Market Trends and Salary Levels: This helps in negotiating promotions within your current company. 2.Expand Your Network: Through interviews, you meet different people and broaden your network. I usually have 2-3 coffee chats per week, which not only expands my knowledge but also proves invaluable when I genuinely want to switch jobs. 3.Gain Career Inspiration and See Different Work Styles: I never confine myself to one industry. With friends in tech, AI, renewable energy, etc., I am curious about these fields. Interviews open up more opportunities for me. Staying too long in one company can isolate you in your bubble, creating habitual thinking. One can only earn within the limits of their knowledge. I firmly encourage my friends to take calculated risks and explore the world beyond their bubble. In the past, business acumen was emphasized, but now professional skills are equally important. The future belongs to those who are highly specialized and can retain their network, and to those with business wisdom who can build strong, lasting ventures. The more people you help, the better things will become. These experiences accumulate, they increase rather than decrease, and the speed at which you can solve various problems only gets faster. What is speed? It's not just about expertise but also the ability to deliver quickly and accurately after successful practice. Firstly, be willing to invest effort and perseverance, with the ability to produce consistently strong results. Secondly, remember the highlights for your customers and genuinely connect with them as friends, aiming to help them improve.
