Masco Canada is donating $50,000 to the St. Thomas Elgin Hospital (STEGH) Foundation, located in St. Thomas, Ont. The donation will support the hospital’s $8 million "Transforming Tomorrow Diagnostic Imaging" campaign, which will affect the diagnostic imaging department at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital and bring an MRI machine and associated care closer to home for residents.

Set to open in the Summer of 2024, our 65,000 sq ft facility will feature 65 beds across seven floors, serving an estimated 404,000 beneficiaries in the surrounding regions. SOCAN: A Lifeline for Cardiac-Afflicted Children Cardiac disease is a leading killer among children, but advancements in surgery and interventional technology offer hope—90% can live a full life, while 10% can live longer and better. However, treatment remains prohibitively expensive, with 40% unable to afford it. SOCAN (Solution for Cardiac Afflicted Needy) addresses this challenge through a Public-Private Partnership that ensures quality care and dignity. Collaborating with skilled professionals, Public Health Centre (PHC) hospital, and Hearts for Hearts (H4H), a Public Charitable Trust, SOCAN project has already performed 460 life-saving surgeries. A sustainable model is envisioned through a ₹5 crore corpus fund, generating ₹50 lakhs annually to support surgeries.
