With the manic festive season rapidly approaching, are you and your clients aligned on SLAs? By that, I'm referring to how far in advance you need collateral for sales campaigns, how responsive you can be to reworking/budget changes/campaign expansions, when you're available on the phone, response times to emails etc. If a campaign needs to be live by the weekend, do your clients know when they need to have it to you by? Have you actually made that explicit? And when the rubber hits the road, do you stand by your Service Level Agreements? Repeatedly breaking your own SLAs is as bad as not having any.

While businesses work to navigate the festive season responsibly, individuals also play a crucial role in ensuring the celebrations remain joyous and stress-free. Personal financial and legal decisions made during this period can have long-term implications. Here are key steps to help you protect yourself and your loved ones while embracing the season’s joy responsibly: 1. Be Cautious with Financial Agreements: When taking loans, signing up for credit, or making major purchases, read all terms thoroughly. A clear understanding of obligations will prevent unexpected liabilities. 2. Protect Yourself from Scams: The rise in online shopping and transactions during this period often attracts fraudsters. Verify sources before making payments and report suspicious activities promptly. 3. Keep Records of All Transactions: Save receipts, invoices, and communication related to purchases or agreements. These can serve as evidence in case of disputes. 4. Manage Credit Wisely: Be cautious with 'Buy Now, Pay Later' schemes, as missed payments can lead to severe repercussions, including debt, fees, and damage to credit ratings. 5. Avoid Overspending: Plan your festive spending in advance and consider alternatives like Secret Santa to ease financial pressure. Protect your legal and financial interests while embracing the joy and opportunities this time of year brings. Source: https://lnkd.in/dSs87uQg Happy festives!
